There any number of threads on the Forums telling of recognising Sisters/Brothers, Parents, Neighbours, Best Mates, Best Mates Partners etc. Very few profiles have face pics, so how does this work?

I had someone drop into my inbox a face and cock pic and I knew them. I didn’t say anything I just blocked them the problem is people don’t have pics on profile but throw them around via inbox and slip ups happen

Could be a feature that stands out, something like tattoos, hair, nails etc Some show inside their homes, especially toilets , bathrooms

We often get recognized by the way we dress and/or Caroline's tattoos'. It's never been a problem for us though - in fact it's quite flattering.

I replied in another forum post on this topic but will will reply here too as it seems more apt for this post.

Was at bus stop on Saturday and this dude who was probably about 19 said he knew me from Fab.

I didn't know who he was so was a bit surprised. Then hes says yeah this is you and shows me my face pic from my profile.

He was obviously using the mobile version and I showed as being right next too him on the who's mobile nearby search, but I thought it was very disrespectful and impolite to do that to someone.

He then wanted a conversation about Fab. So people just have no sense of decorum in public.

Seriously?? Wow, total lack of respect. He'd have been fishing his phone out his arse if that had been me!

We've seen several people who we recognise from public photos (single guys in each case).

But yeah there are other identifying factors too. Plus photos sent to inboxes.

I have a tattoo which I don't have visible in any photos just in case!!

This is why a lot of people don't have profile pics and they may also have jobs where if recognised they could be sacked. To be fair it's the only time it's happened and I have been on and off Fab for a very long time.

I don’t mind getting recognised. It’s the childish ‘I’m not gonna tell you who I am but I’m gonna send you 100 messages’ that bores me. Them’s them that get a blocking

We don't exchange face pics until we are confident we don't know them, message and chat, get to know them a bit first.

One wonders how to interpret above statement...

Did you come (cum) across her in a sexual manner... Or

Did you stumble upon the profile of a lady with whom you work with in your office..

Being french, bearded and driving a grey Talbot with a watermelon seatbelted at the back makes it easy to be recognised by people from fab.

I carry around a small book of photos I've printed off fab. So when I meet people I look out for tattoos, ass, tits, penis and vagina if those happens to be out in Tescos.

Thus, I can say hello (insert fab name).

Accidents happen people sent face pics via private message and if you send your face pic first there is always the danger that you could send it to somebody who knows you in vanilla land. Then there is the background in photos, we try to be careful but you just never know.

I’ve had quite a few guys approach me on the train and ask if I’m me. A neighbour...we have a good laugh about it. Few people in Tesco have done a double take and asked and a couple in my favourite coffee shop in Leeds. My favourite was a guy who walked past me on my smoke break, said hi and stopped to chat...then realised where he recognised me from half way through. His face was an absolute picture

Been recognised on social media because I made the mistake of sharing a pic I used on my other profiles. Haha, they were all polite and not creeps so that’s ok,l. They messaged me to give me a heads up someone on Fab was using my image, haha, it was me.

Although I did have a stalker message me to say they’d seen me in the village. Told me what I was wearing, where and when, they recognised my tattoos- that wasn’t so good xx

I marshalled at a bike show last year and was chatting away to people like you do - went about doing what was needed n this guy keeps 're appearing - he says are you on this site that site then mentioned this site I said yes. He then went on to say he knew me. It this time my profile was hidden and had been for a few months - asked outright if I would like a meet I said no - it was rather an interesting situation - have blocked people if I thought they look familiar before now lol

On a different site a long time ago, I used to have a lot of face pics on show and didn’t care until one of the lads in the factory I worked saw me. I was their manager and they half tried to black-mail me by saying they’d expose me until I reminded them that it’d just prove they were looking for men. Funnily enough it went no further with them being ‘straight’

I have noticed a few folk local to me using pics from social media and more mainstream dating sites. I’ve tried to point this out in the past often being thanked for taking an issue they’d not thought about

I’d love to date someone I find on here. I’d love to be in a relationship where I don’t have to be monogamous. Any time I’ve brought meeting other people up in previous relationships I’ve had to pretend I was joking.

I spotted my ex wife and there were three giveaways.

1. I saw her pretty unusual wanking technique and thought oh aye?

2. I recognised the bedroom furniture

3. One of her final pics I spotted a small tattoo

A town near you

We have had quite a few "single" guys who we recognise as local married guys mail us with face pic attached.

One of my father in laws friends mails us regularly, though his profile has shaved about 15 yrs of his age not to mention his wife lol

I even suggested he stop sending face pics as you never know who might recognise you but he didn't get the hint

Totally out of order in a public place like that. However I tend to take the view that the other person would be on here for pretty much the same reasons as me and had just as much to lose. I'm a fully grown single adult, nothing I do is illegal sso what harm can they do that won't damage them as much as me?

We had our face pics on here until about a week ago, then we realised what kind of work we are in and decided that probably best if we hid them all

I also make sure any tattoos are covered while at work because if anyone saw them on here and came to our work they would instantly know who we were, while we don’t mind getting recognised if we were out and about, it’s not very professional of us and considering our line of work are frequented by swingers quite a bit, we thought best to ‘try’ and remain somewhat discreet lol.

Geeky x

It's funny, despite of all the years I have been on here with public profile pictures, veris etc only one couple has ever said you're heddo aren't you? We met at a bar in Manchester's Village, while we chatted she unzipped my pants and wanked me off, I'd love to meet them again.

I once had a guy who had been to one of my GBs cum up to me in a supermarket and start chatting, as I say that sort of thing is no problem for me. He was Asian had a youg woman with him, nothing too personal was said but I did wonder. Later I chatted to him at another GB and it turned out it was his cousin he was takig out for the delay. I never said anything but I wished he'd brought her along sometime for some fun
