When you meet another fabber

When you meet someone you recognise from here don't start the conversation by saying "hello, I'm xxxx - I know you from fab", especially when that person is not alone.

Happened to me on Saturday night - person I was with (probably) doesn't know about fab. Luckily it was noisy so they didn't hear but could have led to some awkward questions.

Was at bus stop on Saturday and this dude who was probably about 19 said he knew me from FAB.

I didn't know who he was so was a bit surprised. Then hes says yeah this is you and shows me my face pic from my profile.

He was obviously using the mobile version and I showed as being right next too him on the who's mobile nearby search, but I thought it was very disrespectful and impolite to do that to someone.

The most I'll do is describe very vanilla things as "Fab" and see how they react.

I had this happen twice. Both times, I was reading the forums. The first one was a creepy older man who started trying to find out what I was doing later. The second one was a young guy who took some time to understand that no, I did not want to talk to him. Just because.

You should of bent him over and knocked it up his arse, that would have shut him up

I wouldn't have minded so much but he said it's cool and I'm on Fab too, which it wasnt. Then he wanted a fucking conversation about how long I have been on and have i met anyone in Fab.

If I see him with his mum next time I'll see how he likes being recognized at the bus stop lol

Yes - this!

It was actually another t-girl - she should have really said nothing about fab but if she had said something like "you look fab" and emphasised the fab I would have taken the hint.

It’s completely bang out of order. What happens on Fab stays on Fab.

My wife and I hesitated for a couple of months about signing up. Eventually we did as a couple. A friend of a close relative didn’t hesitate in popping round and showing them the profile pics etc, causing some family grief. Even on Saturday night at a family party. A transgender person, totally pissed approached us when dancing, and said “ how’s my favourite Fab people “. Winked and walked off.

Idiots!! What goes on in Fab land stays in Fab land. I had a couple on here tell some vanilla friends I was on Fab and went to Mingles. Totally out of order. Just deny.
