Try not to tense, relax and take it slowly. Use as much lube as you can and more. Also try wearing a butt plug for an hour or two beforehand

Relaxing is definitely the key, don't try it until your ready to you will only be anxious and tense up....but definitely take time to play on your own.....enjoy

From my experience finding someone with some experience and willing to take things slowly helps. To be honest even with suitable foreplay, plenty of lube and a slow insertion you may still get some pain and its not abnormal to want it out for the first couple times or mintues if you manage to stay impaled. Personally though I find that the initial discomfort is soon forgotten due to the pleasureable sensations that follow.

Oh and as nobody else has mentioned them alkyl nitrites (popp ers) inhaled a few moments before can help a lot for some people. No only does the rush of nitric oxide in the blood help relax the smooth tissues in the anus helping ease the penetration but they also make a lot of people feel ruder and hornier for a few moments. I would however suggest that if you thinking of trying these that you definately don't do them if you have heart or blood pressure issues and don't mix them with erectile disfunction tablets. I would also try a small test run well before the planned meet as some people have really bad side effects to them such as intense headaches.

Like anything, finding the right person is of course key, someone you are comfortable and able to relax with, who will go at your pace and listen for signals and the like.

All of the advice above is good - when I've indulged in anal that way there is always a very brief moment of discomfort, but I've found that if I relax and focus, and the person concerned takes their cue from me that it soon passes
