As you can see iv been on a while and im really nervous about meeting as im unsure what to expect e.g. get stood up any thoughts of how to over come

It’s totally natural to be apprehensive.

I would simply communicate with anyone with whom you’re setting up a meet, and let them know that you’ll check in every so often to make sure it’s still on. Genuine people will not mind this, in my experience!

It might be worth considering a group social for your first meet as well.
