They maybe got bored with the coversation or they might just like to delete to keep their inbox tidy, have you asked why?

I never understand that .. I keep ours for future reference untill they are naturally delete by the site..we find single guys do this alot. I did ask one once, why he instantly deleted his replies and messages..He said, to keep my inbox tidy. I asked, do you get a lot of messages each day then..he said no.

I do hate a messy inbox but I do wait until I know if it's going anywhere before I delete. Mid chat seems I bit weird, but maybe they knew it wasn't going anywhere, who knows with fab

I delete mine during chats too. It all shows anyway in sent items or If supporter it’s displayed anyway .

Fascinates me how people get so emotionally invested in this site .

"Dont you want to see a conversation develop?"

not if it's clear it's going nowhere...life's too short to spend time talking to uninspiring people...

having said that, we do like to keep a tidy inbox and the message stream is there anyway so we do delete as we go...

If I start losing track of conversations then I'll delete all the ones I've replied to or not going to reply to. I can still be chatting to people. I just need some organisation

I bet the people that delete mails on here are the people that delete emails once read.

Do you mean after they've read it, or without reading it?

Whenever I question men who delete my messages straight after replying to me, they say they have OCD... Seriously?

Why even check your sent mails?

We drop the message threads into the saved list...that way it's easier to keep up and if only one of us is there at the time the other can catch up later.

I wouldn't know if someone had deleted a message I'd sent, I don't check. I don't think it's rude though.

I sometimes delete accidentally.

That delete button is easy to press.

But more importantly, why would anyone care if messages are deleted?

I delete after reading and or replying. I don't want to be scrolling through tons of messages to find someone's message thanks.

What's it matter if they delete the message if they are replying?

If they are not replying then perhaps they have decided to end the conversation.
