Doesn't bother me in the slightest.

What does irritate me is that we joined a swinging site to chat and hopefully meet people that was like-minded to ourselves.

But no it just seems to be more threads moaning about body sizes.

I'm fat. It's not a great word and some can find it offensive.. so to soften it a little people call me larger lady. Bigger lady. BBW. Curvy.

Chunky and even thick. Now thick to me means I'm not very brainy but that word these days are to describe a plus size woman. Who knew

Unfortunately I can't be called busty as I've only got a handful so that's me out of that one!

Had a quick look at your profile and you seem like a decent guy. So I'm gong to assume you're not actually a complete Dick, and that you are just stirring the pot a little for fun....

I love it when a woman describes herself as curvy or busty. To me it shows a sexy confidence and somone who is comfortable within themselves. I don't have a specific type physically. I'm far more fussy about personality and making a mental connection! I'd much rather be with somone you describe as overweight who feels sexy and horny and really into getting and giving pleasure than somone who is perfectly toned, diet/ fitness obsessed, who is really vein or not body confident and etc..

I'm afraid OP it would appear with the wording of your post that you may have just put your foot in it slightly.

Personally speaking, I love females of all shapes and sizes but my preference is and always has been curvy. I understand not everybody shares the same preferences as me and nor do they have the same confidence levels either but I believe that both men and women should be able to label themselves if they wish to do so - within a category that they feel confident, comfortable and sexy in rather than have people judging them and calling them out for their appearance.

The boundaries are difficult. I call myself curvy because I am sort of hourglass shaped. My body curves. Could I stand to lose some weight? Sure. But I'm still curvy. Whether I'm large or fat is in the eye of the beholder. And they can look at my pictures and judge for themselves.

But, for what it's worth, I've been curvy since puberty, including when I've been thin. It's just how my body is.

There have been three threads in 3 days moaning about how women choose to describe themselves.

Also women and men feeling they have to justify how they describe themselves. do you know what it's fuck all to do with anybody else!

It seems to be perfectly acceptable to call someone fat and nobody has a major problem with it however the minute you say somebody is a skinny minny the world jumps on it.

Neither is acceptable but the biggest problem is everybody is so concerned with how everyone else decides to describe their body shape so why doesn't everybody just look at the pictures, read the profile and make a decision.

It's hardly rocket science!!!

On the more general point, I think people should be free to describe themselves as they choose. And - while I realise sexual preferences aren't rational and aren't easily modified - I think it would behove us all to cultivate broad tastes and find attractiveness in all sorts and shapes of people. We can miss out if we let one aspect cloud our judgement and prevent us getting to know someone who may be very wonderful in other areas.

I'm unworthy of attention but will accept a pity fuck. (sometimes it does really feel that people want me to feel this way, although of course I don't)

Yes, I'm overweight. I'm bang on average size wise for a UK woman, slightly above height wise, an outlier in terms of muscle mass (I lift), and my body is curvy whether I'm a size 10 or 20 (neither are true right now). But yes, I am regularly told in my inbox that I'm disgusting.

I can lose weight, but being a jerk is much harder to change.

I think everyone has different definitions of overweight, curvy etc

If you go off that ideal weight bollocks/bmi and all that then a lot of people are overweight whether it be by 1 pound or 20 pound

I think "overweight" is something between you and your doctor. If someone doesn't like my body, more power to them (although I'd rather not hear about it, it's often rude. Just say no thank you, or don't message me). It can be hard to tell, as bodies do come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. I personally couldn't be less than a size 10 without surgically altering my skeleton (my hips are quite wide, I was a size 10 on the bottom before I hit my teens). For some people, that's a bit chubby. As an outsider you don't and can't know.

In 1945 she was 120 lbs and dress size 12 then in 1962 from the coroner's report she weighed 117 lbs so don't know why people would think she was a size 16

There are nice ways to refer to a person's body type and there are ways that are not and even insulting. Why would anyone want hurt someone's feelings by using a derogatory term, regardless of whether you think it's true or not?

You wouldn't refer to someone in a wheelchair as a cripple, this is no different. It takes no effort at all to moderate your use of language.

I think it would benefit from a filter search regarding dress size, cock size, height,bra size etc.....so if I searched for a woman I could search for women that have put on.their profile they like guts 6ft onwards say so that they don't appear on my search or say they tick.boxes on.their profiles saying they would only meet guys with 7 inch cock onwards so that mean them women wouldn't show in my search as I'm not their target audience. .

Saves a lot of time for everyone

I'm a size 16, So prefer to class myself as large or fabulous. I know others are not bothered by the word 'fat, but i hate that term, regardless of if it is an accurate term or not. It's used far too much in derogatory way, for me to be comfortable with it. I do think some are too bothered by how people size themselves on here. You can't filter out searches by sizing. So people should just focus on the pictures. If there are no pictures on public display, then just dont message. It's very simple

My GP told me to ignore BMI. By my BMI I'm about 1/2 a stone overweight but she said a better indicator is your waist circumference should be less than half your height. I'm 5ft 7 (67 inches) and my waist is 27 inches so by that measure I'm fine. I think my BMI may be skewed by lifting weights and having G cup boobs!

Jesus if those measurements are correct then these days she'd be more a size 6. Maybe a 10 on top due to being busty. Judging by many of the responses i wonder if it's even necessary to have body type listed on a profile. As it is it seems a little unfair not to have penis size listed too.

In 1945 she was 120 lbs and dress size 12 then in 1962 from the coroner's report she weighed 117 lbs so don't know why people would think she was a size 16

My mistake. Regardless, it does still depend on definition. I see slim women put curvy on their profile and they clearly do not have the small waist, big hips definition. So are definitely not curvy. If the OP is going to moan about putting curvy on a profile, then I can't see how it's fair to only call out those he deems as overweight. Or could it be that he finds slimmer women desirable, so it's okay for them to put whatever they want on it?

I think it would benefit from a filter search regarding dress size, cock size, height,bra size etc.....so if I searched for a woman I could search for women that have put on.their profile they like guts 6ft onwards say so that they don't appear on my search or say they tick.boxes on.their profiles saying they would only meet guys with 7 inch cock onwards so that mean them women wouldn't show in my search as I'm not their target audience. .

Saves a lot of time for everyone

Jesus if those measurements are correct then these days she'd be more a size 6. Maybe a 10 on top due to being busty. I knew the size 16 thing was a myth (I thought it came from a UK 16 being a US 14 and clothes sizes being smaller back then) but she's not even close to a modern day size 12 by them measurements."

The main thing is OP that people will describe themselves as they want. And if you or anyone else don't like the look or sound of someone then walk on by.

If I chat to someone that I think is fugly.. I'm nice enough to not actually tell them that. I say thanks but no. They have an answer and there feelings aren't hurt.

I don't make a thread about people that describe themselves as good looking when actually they are a munter.

We all have different tastes so some may think I'm fugly but others might think I'm beautiful.

I get judged because of the colour of my hair, always had it, especially when.I was younger, but thise people who have met me said I wad a great guy and they were glad they gave me a chance

because if you would quoted the whole thing your statement would have been irrelevant because I very clearly said it is up to the individual on how to describe then self not anybody else! so if an individual wants describe themself as fat or as a skinny mini it is there decision, it is not for anybody else to make judgement or tell them they cannot describe them self in that way. if somebody wants to call themselves curvy its individual choice. You don't need to be a GP to know BMI isnt the best measure. Doesn't take in to consideration the weight of muscle or fat just your total weight. You could be 90kg as a woman who is 5'2 and have 15% body fat.

My GP told me to ignore BMI. By my BMI I'm about 1/2 a stone overweight but she said a better indicator is your waist circumference should be less than half your height. I'm 5ft 7 (67 inches) and my waist is 27 inches so by that measure I'm fine. I think my BMI may be skewed by lifting weights and having G cup boobs!"

Exactly. It has its place but its not the best way to measure 'weight' I'm obese according to my BMI. Doesn't take in to account I used to powerlift and now I do oly lifting and strongman. You look fab by the way

The more overweight I am - the bustier I become! A lucky few ladies are slim with large natural boobs - but as most of a large breast is body fat - it stands to reason that more overweight ladies will be busty than slim ladies?

In the unlikely event that I ever get really slim again - I’ll practically have inverted boobs!

My agenda?! To clarify, I agreed with everything in your post, except the paragraph I quoted, hence why I quoted it.

I was just disagreeing with your point that it's seemingly perfectly acceptable to call someone fat, but not a skinny minny. This thread doesn't show that, in fact it shows the opposite.

Again, the only ones to use the word fat were people describing themselves. However, skinny minny was used almost with impunity! The OP didn't even use the word fat!
