Agreed. To us cheating is nothing to do with swinging.

We appreciate that everybody has a story but it just doesnt sit comfortably with us.

Where we know we prefer not to get involved.

Got chatting to a bloke on here and thought I recognised his face but thought nothing of it, me and hubby were going to invite him round and in the mean time I did some research and found him on facey b, with a girlfriend and a kid!! He's actually our friends brother which us why he looked familiar. He even used the same profile picture (of his face obviously) blocked straight away. No way are we getting involved!

It is about informed choice.

Before we go down the " oh do you inform your partner" path (which is inevitable), anyone who declares they are married on here either gets slated and then hides the fact, or quietly goes about their business knowing their choice is wrong but have made it anyway.

People have had affairs for as long as mareiage has existed. Some people struggle with monogamy.

Messaging someone to declare your distaste (which often happens) is not going to get them to reform.

Tut disapprovingly by all means, block, move on.

Everyone tries to justify everything to suit their own purposes. Same as a couple who by swinging make their relationship stronger. Someone in society will condemn them.

Having seen the fallout, personally, on a wife and 2 young children, from the effects of a cheating husband, we try to avoid cheaters. Yes everyone of them will have a reason, so up to them, if they can live with themselves.

Have no moral issue with it, their business not mine, however, after having 2 screaming wives (on 2 different occasions) call me at 3am because their husbands were stupid enough to leave messages on their phones/computers or whatever, I avoid married men as much as possible....unless they are part of a swinging couple/open relationship that can be verified of course

We get posts most weeks about cheating, particularly if it's right or wrong, so much so that it's a forum bingo topic.

As we are looking for single guys, we get a fair number of cheaters contacting us. The single guys that truly have a swingers lifestyle mindset (rather than using fab as a "sex site") are few and far between. But they're easy to spot. We don't meet cheaters but are happy to meet guys that are in a truly open relationship - we swing together and separately ourselves

Don't agree with it.

Be single. Especially as I know how it feels to be betrayed and I have seen how it effects the kids and others.Especially when ye were together for a long time.

But I do understand some circumstances.But I still wouldn't go there.

Ye it's a swinger site.it's not an excuse to cheat.

She didn't blame me at all. Just wanted to know if her husband was in love with me, which he had promised me a lot more than just sex so i think she had seen our messages and put 2+2 together and made 5.

It’s cheating - not swinging - I wonder how many of them would change their view if on returning home - they caught their other half “swinging” with some fitty/stud

It’s no moral high ground on cheaters -their business, but aside from the risk of crap that could come from it - it’s more about not really wanting to play with someone who clearly doesn’t respect others and is clearly gutless to sort out whatever issue they have and instead become single and then they can be a swinger not a cheater.

In the long run people on here make their own choices and if someone comes on here as married and partner does not know it's up to them

We do try not to get involved with these people but if you play at clubs extra it's the same with anything someone hides you will not know.

Personally do I feel cheating is morally right. As someone that has lived their whole life as ethically non monogamous no I don't.

But then that is my own moral standpoint and no judgement on those that do xx

It's a fine line between a single in a relationship swinging or cheating.

What if that person is in a loving but sexless relationship? We have many friends that might have stayed together if they'd been swinging, as couples or singles.

In today's day and age with social media, etc society has become to embroiled in other peoples lives. We spend way to much time worrying about what other people are doing, to the point even the news is awash with random folks who are just getting on with life.

Quite understand that point of view (though not everyone who is single is necessarily desirable). I also understand those who want to avoid complications with partners. But here's another perspective. One woman said to me "It sometimes seems that all the most interesting men are taken".

(I was of course flattered, but also tried to encourage her that there are some interesting single guys around; everyone is single at some points in their life.)

This is a site for nsa sex but seems more judgemental than most places when we would all be judged by most, double standards in abundance! This thread days after another stating clearly it’s the 21st century and no body can tell you what to do because it’s your body, so by that train of thought it’s ok if the cheaters tell the partner but tell them it’s tough because there doing it anyway, and don’t get me started on the bareback but will eat cum out of a pussy threads I’m still struggling with the logistics of that

Very good post OP.

I state my circumstances clearly in my profile, so not hiding from the fact I am both married and Bisexual, that way people can either pass by, or engage if they so wish and yes I get my fair share of "trollers" having a go, but its parr for the course.

The point is made above, that there are always reasons, circumstances as to why married men or women play away, but in my opinion, its driven by pure lust for physical connection, that might be lacking elsewhere, or a simple enjoyment of this lifestyle

Why should somebody change their principles just because they are on Fabs. This seems to be a widely held opinion and I just don't get it. As I posted earlier I don't cheat or play with people who are doing it without their partner's permission and that applies to both real life and on here. I don't lecture other people about it because it is their life and their choice but for me to behave differently on here would be just weird.

Miss tress does make a good point and without wishing to drag this out - each will have their own reasons why they meet for sex on a sex dating site like this, each will have needs that they/their partners might not be able to match, but this is an adult sex dating site, simple as that, so we all need to either accept or move on

Undoubtlably, there a multitude of reasons why Women and Men play away from home, but to judge them on here seems harsh

Yes there are and I think its a good idea for attached people to put it on their profiles, that way, people can make an informed choice as to whether they want to get involved with them.

Doesn't bother me at all if a man is cheating I just ask they don't lie about it to me. Monogamy is unnatural anyway, society needs to STOP being close minded about extramarital sex. If society was open, married people won't have to resort to deception in their lives and just tell their huns they'd be popping over to someone's place for afternoon sex.

It matters to people who have no desire to aid people cheating. It's called a preference. Just because it's a swinging site doesn't mean we can't have morals or choice. Swinging is not cheating, it's something that is done with both partners knowledge. Cheats do it without their partners consent or knowledge, that's the difference. Well as a person who’s now EX was on here cheating on me I find it disgusting, there is no excuse to cheat x if you want to cheat leave your partner don’t put them through what I went though were I reached rock bottom because of it.

At the end of the day no one usually actually knows whether their partner, male or female is cheating on them. You may be swingers who state that yo never play alone but you don't 'know' it. When I was married my wife and I weren't into swinginging, however I got away with it for over 12 months when I had an affair. To be honest it ended up being one of the most horrible times of my life when I was liing that lie. However lots of people manage it, my experience taught me to be as honest as I could be, but I have still played around with a couple of people since. As Hotgirl32 said, monogamy is not a natural state for human beings, as is shown by communism, it's a nice idea but people are just not wired that way for it to work. I have dfinitely met 2 women who's swinging partners have not known they were meeting me, also 1 man who wanted to play without his swinging wife knowing. Those were the 3 who I knew were cheating, who knows how many more there were? A lot of people put 'safe sex' on their profiles on here or straight, it often turns out to be untrue. I have worked most of my life in sales, the golden rule is how do you know when a customer is lying. The answer is there are noises coming out of their mouth. Tha's people for you

Very much my mindset. It may sound controversial but I expect more from swinging couples as opposed to conventional couples. Swinging couples have supposedly been open about their desires where as with conventional couples I can better understand the fear of an extremely negative reaction from ones partner.

Which is why I don’t meet one half of a swinging couple. Like all relationships no one knows the dynamics except the two in it. However, I am wary of the fallout that could happen on here should their agreed dynamic / trust break down.

I’m not interested in why anyway. I just think it’s cowardly. Hotgirl is right though, society says we have to be all for one person and obviously I agree with that because we’re here. BUT! I can not, however it’s looked at and explained, condone deceit.

I fell out of love with my husband. He made me depressed and feel like i was going mental. So I left him. That takes huge strength, especially when 3 children are involved.

I do feel there is a huge gender difference when judging cheating on here! A cheater is a dishonest person who really doesn't care about the significant other in their lives regardless of their gender.

And before everyone starts screaming that there are so many reasons and finding justifications for cheating ... whatever the reason it is cheating and it is being dishonest.

How other's choose to react is entirely up to themselves and is their own moral dilemma.
