Is honesty the best policy or is somethings best not to be shared...?

either kept a secret or perhaps share when you've been conversing for a while...?

this is something purely based on my profile context where somethings perhaps you can't write on a profile from the outset..

I believe honesty is the best policy. I have a shockingly bad memory anyway and to be a good liar you have to have a good memory. So, I'm either honest or keep my mouth shut if I have nothing nice to say..... mostly x

Depends what it is...but if you cannot put it on your profile then you need to be upfront about it pretty quickly if it might affect someone's willingness to meet you.IMO.

Agree it is important, I have turned down married women, who are playing without their husbands approval. Glad they told me and I ended it there. Wish they had been up front from the beginning ??

I would keep information from people on here I don't think they need to know.

I try to be as honest as possible, even with children.

I don't mention anything like that as it encourages the wrong kind of people. Many will just say they're into it to get a meet anyway.

It's probably different for men though, and will likely put people off.

So I lie because it works much better.

If a friend asked me on her wedding day how she looked in her wedding dress and she looked awful (in my opinion) I would lie through my teeth and not regret it for a minute.
