I’ll generally get messaged first if it’s in response time to something (status, etc). I will message women I like the look of first but it’s nice to receive one out the blue too!

They can but they're usually pretty easy to suss out - can honestly say of the profiles that have messaged me first that are ladies or couples I've maybe had two that were suspect and could spot them a mile off.

There's only so much vetting the site can do though so it will always happen but with a little diligence on the part of us the users it's not that big a problem.

I have the same principle almost all the time as I don't wish to add to a massive heap of unread mail pouring into ladies and couples inboxes daily, apart from when I'm arranging the odd event. Therefore my total number of first contacts I've sent (winks and messages) is under a dozen, compared to thousands received?

It sounds like an insane ratio for a chap, till you bear in mind the principle I have AND the fact I've had 365 days to accumulate that lot lol!
