Which sometimes works! When I contact couples, it's with the expectation that the male will have some involvement, even if it's only watching...

....but on one occasion, after contacting a couple and not hearing back, I suddenly got a message a few weeks later - from the female half, who I then visited a number of times without her partner's knowledge...
