I just got a warning on the site saying that I shouldn't message the same person twice if I haven't had a reply....Well, Fab Admin and all... I once messaged a woman on here and found that my message was deleted. a few days later I sent a 2nd message and this time she replied...after a couple of meets, I was chatting to her and this very topic came up, she admitted that once she gets to 150+ un answered messages a week, she 'Bulk' deletes as she can't be arsed looking at them all.

Now I totally appreciate that some women get lots of messages a week but please dont assume every guy on here pesters every woman day in, day out!

South Suffolk Area

Is this a new feature?, as we have often had multiple messages from the same person that we have not replied to.

Its an auto message. Don't take it personally.

If you messaged me again after I'd deleted your first message I'd also delete your second, so you were lucky with her!

Just tested it out on your profile Honeypotcouple, it's pretty aggressive but does the job because I WILL NOT be messaging you....in fact I'm a bit scared to even look at your profile now in case a hand comes out of the screen and punches me square on the hooter......so much for taking over the world together....

Hahaha I also got scared when I tested it out earlier to see what it was like

The hand that comes out of the screen obviously needs tweaking if its headed towards noses

Bravo that man and Hear Hear my sentiments exactly.

Surely the most sensible way is like on other sites a "sorry not Interested auto reply button" or If unanswered after 7 days auto delete and auto message the sender?

hear hear! well said...would be a great idea!

A simple "not interested" button, in fact everyone moans about the wink button, so why not replace it with something else.

Another one, is, if I block or I get blocked then that persons name should be taken out of the search list.

i am constantly amazed at the thin skins of some people on this site

Blocking is rude, not replying is rude ,now apparently egos are so fragile they cant cope with a perfectly civil message saying you might do better looking for ppl whose requirements you fit.

No wonder so many men get abusive when you turn them down

Whatever admin choose to do, someone will complain.

Just to balance it out, thank you admin for helping people think twice before messaging people they shouldn't.

Nope. Soon everyone (well, the single men who do most of the moaning) would start complaining that using the "not interested" button is rude/lazy/ignorant.
