Apologies for starting a thread already 'done to death' regarding messages. We occasionally post on the forums, so are unaware of earlier postings, however, we did feel the need to raise it, for our own benfit.We will search through the forums to find answers to similar postings, as ours has been closed.

It'd be good to see moderators doing this more often as well as closing (and ideally deleting) what are obviously 'look at me' threads.

i agree with the OP

if your relatively new to the forums & ask a question it would be far nicer to just post a link to another similar thread so they can see some answers there instead of being shot down, doesnt make people feel very welcome

The problem with that is that the forum search function isn't very sophisticated and some thread titles bear absolutely no relation to the thread content.

Quite agree with the shot down n unwelcome comment. Some comical things that some find so amusing,really do happen.

Im sorry that some think that they have been shot down as the thread was closed

The owners have asked that all "why don't people reply threads are closed" as its a subject that has been raised many times and mostly provokes bad reactions

I may have worded it rather curtly so for that I apologise

but before I close this one too as it will go along the same lines

No-one has to reply to anything and to save you from trawling through the archives as some threads are indeed hard to find,the general opinion to this question of why don't people reply is to move on and not let it worry you,there are plenty of lovely people on here that make all the hard work worth it

If someone does'nt reply to you then you would'nt want to meet up with them anyway

good luck and I have no doubt that you will find what you're looking for
