ladies, how long does it take you to get ready for a meet

Hi girls,

I was just wondering how long it takes you to get ready if you are meeting someone.

How does that compare to how long you take to get ready for say a saturday night out?

I ask because I am amazed how many guys are surprised when they contact me that I can't just pop over straight away, but ask them for at least a few hours notice next time, if not days ideally. I usually then suggest spending the intervening time until that future date getting to know one another a little first, which can be like casting a disappearance/confusion spell on them sometimes, but that's another story.

I know you girls have natural advantages over me getting ready but I feel sure you still like to spend time making sure you will look at your best - I personally have to look as good as if I was going out on a saturday night out make up wise at least - and I thought any guy, except perhaps younger ones who have never shared a place with a girl, would know that.

It's like because it only takes a guy 20 minutes to have a quick shower and put on some jeans, t-shirt and trainers to get ready that the fairer sex (and wannabe's) are the same. Either that or they are not that fussy how someone looks if they are getting sex?

Or am I wrong and it is also different for you girls when the hard work of attracting a man in the first place is done for you by this site and the appearance, especially clothes which aren't staying on, aren't important?

Sorry for asking but as I was pondering it I realised that as I've never met a female from here that my assumptions could well be wrong, especially since you real women don't need to worry so much about looking feminine. You naturally are, but tgirls like me do tend to have to work really hard to get somewhere near and therefore emphasis will differ on what is important to us.

i like to take my time as the antisipation of a meet is exciting and i like to make sure that i look my best.

I would never be able to do a spur-of-the-moment meet either for all the reasons mentioned about wanting to look, smell and feel my best before meeting someone.

It doesn't get any easier lol op. I don't think so anyway.

To be honest 24hours notice works for me I do the veeting and pedicures the day before and choose outfit as veet always leaves me sensative. And on the day I would say I have it down to an hour and half have a long hot soak wash hair etc. Make up etc.

hours, i look at it as going out for the night, and put the same effort into it.

remember the meet mite not show, we may not get on, we may want to make a good impression and we may want to say on the town and live it up.

As like most with kids free time is rare so i will make an effort, oh i like the people i go to meet to have made an effort too if they look dirty untidy or no effort it's a by ball and onward to town life is to short

It takes me at least 3 hours but will not meet without at least 24 hours notice as even though my place is clean it still gets a good going over beforehand

lol, dont think ive ever cleaned up before a meet, well i have but not for the meet, it just gets done every day anyway

Takes me hours. Takes about an hour just to get properly clean inside and out, then hair and make up. Choosing what to wear could take forever especially if i haven't bought new. For this sat night we started getting ready at 6 and was still rushing about at 9 when he was due.

I keep myself pretty much clean and depilated every day so between and hour and 2 hours is sufficient for me.

need 24hrs, my hair alone takes 4hrs and then theirs all the shaving, exfoliating, moisterising and carefully applied make up before I even look in the wardrobe and worry I don't have the right outfit! No way could I do a spontaneous meet lol

Two hours to mentally prepare myself, I love the anticipation . Nice long bath.. picking outfit, going back upstairs to change outfit for a second or maybe third time.

But if I have waxed recently it takes me half an hour tops. (Woman's speak for 1 hour)

Hour and a half to 2 hours depending when I last shaved/waxed (lots of us natural(ish) blondes aren't over bothered in the body hair department). Takes a bit longer than night out with the girls prep as need to clean inside and out so to speak. To be honest, takes most time setting cement mixer up for me slap

10-15 minutes in the bath.

30-40 minutes to do hair and make-up.

Any remaining time out of the hour is spent tugging and twanging the tops of my hold-ups to get them straight and at the same height.

Dont take long really, bath, wash hair, blow dry hair, straighten hair, put make up on and get dressed you can easy do that in a hour

Painting nails, shaving, bathing picking out an outfit and putting on make up all take time. A good couple of hours for a meet or a Saturday night out even with the girls.

Longer if I need a new outfit, lol.

I've been known to go from first message to meet in 30 mins. I do enjoy getting ready and looking all pwetty... but I also love spur of the moment meets (but that generally means I am all ready to go anyway).

Going to clubs I like to take the time to pamper myself and enjoy putting on my make-up and doing my hair so this can take a few hours!

I take gours like i would on a night out if im honest ,... shower, shave, soak in a bath of oils, not to mention housework before hand ( got to be immaculate) then its setting the scene, so yes ,... a long time,... thats why it pisses me off if they decide to pull out last min grrrrrrr x

I hope the guys read this thread and understand how much you invest in to their (and your) fun.

What I like best on this thread are the posts about the anticipation/mental preparation. It is really good for someone who is trans whenever I find out I'm not so different to a real woman in some respects.
