Crossdresser- wears clothes, but not bothered in passing.

Transvestite - wears clothes, wig and makeup to pass.

Transsexual- born in the wrong body, may or may not want to transition.

There are obviously more to the spectrum but for a basic understanding, the above is how I see our community

I agree that Steph’s analysis is spot on.

As to the original question I wouldn’t regard that as being TV or anything but it certainly sounds like the start of something!

I'd say that's a good way of looking at things.. though crossdresser and TV can be one or the other, which ever you prefer to call yourself.

I've not been doing this for very long, so I flit between TV and CD.

Nice definition but as you say there is a spectrum

I know men who like to wear female clothes, either underwear or corsets and boots and would not consider themselves a TV or CD

I wear female undies all the time that it has just become natural. If they are normal plain undies I don't consider it TV or CD, just me. If they are a bit more sexy or feminine it may be CD or sissy. My full TV side has not been out for a while but not gone completely.

At times I worry too much about trying to fit into other people's labels and forget to just be me.
