Hi old winge new thread

Since New year and a Happy New year to you all,I have sent over 100 messages to both Females and Couples.

Before I send ANY messages I ALWAYS look at their profile and make sure I match their requests so I put some thought into it,and with the message as well.

So far

50% have not been read (now weeks old)

42% Deleted without being read

8% read kept for couple days then deleted.

Not ONE response either no thanks or you are just what we where looking for.

So guess my profiles rubbish,the messages was rubbish or something else.

So do I carry on or give up?

You might get lucky, I get two this morning, first time ever, admittedly one was a thanks, but no thanks, while the other didn't progress further than one message. So you never know, stranger things can happen.

Have a catchy message title, to help you stand out e.g your favourite food is.... If carlsberg made fab emails, this would be it. Humour in the title has worked for me. Good luck OP

You may be composing a decent message and identifying what they are looking for but most will read a profile before looking at a message.

You have 1 pic as your profile and are about 10ft away from the camera.

No good just changing that pic. Having public pictures is the way forward.

No matter how good the message is, no pics, no reply, from us at least

After that incredibly boring message I Think I can see your problem and recommend giving up. Subject covered in the most enormous detail every other day.

Accountant by any chance

You won't appeal to all.

You will be too old for some.

People over 25 who can't accommodate draw conclusions.

You will get sarcastic comments from some trolls on here best just ignore them and keep trying.

The one thing to remember is this.

No matter how much you think you're (anyone, not the OP specifically) the perfect match for someone based on what you read in their profile - they may not think the same.

It's hard to put all of your wants and preferences into words and all it takes is for one small thing to make someone think you're not for them and you'll not get a reply/meet.

And you may well never know what that one samll thing is. The other person/people may not even know themselves.

Sometimes it's just a feeling.
