I used to be a single man on Fab. It's easy to feel out when you think a couple's profile is shady.

So when a polite request to "send us a selfie with you touching your ear with your pinky" is met with radio silence and a block. (Cause a pic collector can't possibly have a pic for that)

Are couples really that offended when we find your 8 month verified account too good to be true and ask to verify again ?

To be fair, anyone that hasn’t read our profile and not noticed our codeword isn’t someone we want to meet.

We read profiles before meaaaging so see no reason why others can’t.

Ive had my profile a wile but and had a few meets but never bothered with verifications. Kinda wish i did now as people do seem to like to see them.

I find that after chatting you can make your own judgment anyways !

Tbh, if you think we would re-verify ourselves to prove to you, or any couple/man/woman that we're real, we'd presume you can't read our veri's so therefore your either illiterate or just plain stupid.

We don't, as a rule, ask for face pics first but we do send ours out of we message first.

We don't, as a rule, ask for a penis comparison chart as it's not the cock but the man using it

We don't, as a rule, ask for boob size or bum size as beauty and sexiness have nothing to do with the fat mass index.

We don't, as a rule, meet white guys but there's quite a few here and at clubs that will testify that that rule is very flexible.

We don't, as a rule, care much for single guys who whine that couples/unicorns in fabs can have their cake AND eat it. Mind you, that's a rule we tend to keep to

And I've never been directly asked to do or have any of those things - yes some of them may be on *some* profiles but it's a simple matter of choice whether you decide to try and engage them - there are plenty of other profiles that don't have those requirements if you don't

In the initial messages we wouldn’t do it and actually we wouldn’t ask for it either

After several messages if we think there’s rapport and a spark and this could be going somewhere then sure they can make a request or we will kik cam with them. Actually that’s part of the fun

We wouldn't do this, we had one the other day asking for a picture of both of us holding a can in one hand and a pen in the other, get fucking real.

When we gave them our phone number and asked for a 4way chat they disappeared, strange as they must have been real to ask for a pose like that?

We have pics of us together and separately in our friends gallery, showing faces and sexy underwear shots.

We verify with a call to determine if profiles are fake, we guarantee that the fakers either will not call or the 'wife' will always be unavailable, at this point delete and block.

This is the second time this has been asked in a week, is it a new trend for everyone to make a prat of themselves to get a meet?

Good example just happened.

Message exchanges this week. Seems to be a spark. Pics of his “equipment” are a bit blurry so Lou asks if he has any clearer pics.

Message this morning 3 paras of abuse, apparently we are pic hunters

and he’s not our puppet

Conclusion either he’s having a very bad morning and we caught the fallout or he has something to hide downstairs.

Either way bullet dodged, block and move on lol

If the couple have good verifications why should they need to verify their genuine, where as if it was a couples profile with no verifications we would probably ask for a quick phone call to verify the female is actually on board with this, the amount of couples profiles where the female isn't available is shocking.

If we were keen to meet them then we'd probably accommodate their request and ask for similar.

OP, as you're not verified and, despite being a "mature couple", you're both quite young and only have a 5 line profile; I belive that it's the verified couple that would be taking the risk - if anyone should be asking for a verification picture it's them.

Take your lead from more experiance couples, there are always risks but these can be mitigated in other ways that don't put people off.

If their approach is prove you exist as a couple then we would be inclined to say thanks but no thanks - that’s not because we can’t prove it but we don’t like the manner it is said.

Blokes who complain that they have to do xyz and jump through alsorts of hoops - well they don’t have do anything, no one is forcing them to do anything. They could too say thanks but no thanks and move on.

But on one hand they want the meet so bad but other hand complain when a couple wants to -out time wasters and fake profiles.

I understand verifying but the best verification is to meet face to face for a social. We always insist on that and if others don't seem eager to do so then we will move on to those who will. We don't want to waste our time with co tinuous chatting to someone who never mentions meeting and just keeps asking for the next photo. The first photos are to show we are genuine. After that it is for mood setting for a meet, not to give someone a library of our photos.

But unfortunately I get to make those demands where guys don't (and it's not as big a deal for me if they tell me to get lost, it's happened, I don't care). Me and the Mrs have a excellent relationship, we aren't looking for Mr nice, you could genuinely be an outstanding bloke and a laugh, but a friendship is all that would come of that.

We ask for face pictures first off, and we reply with our face pictures attached, if there isn't any mutual attraction, what's the point in having the chat for weeks, the point of having this naughty side is so we can have fun, if she sees a lad that's hot, she invites him over and I watch or she plays and I get sent pics/videos, we aren't looking for someone who is nice, we are looking for someone good-looking, and very very fucking naughty

We’re on the other side of the fence here. We get asked for face pics by couples who aren’t verified and so refuse.

We all know there are a lot of fakes on here so if you’ve been on here as a couple for a few months and have no verifications be it from the photo or from someone then you won’t get a reply from us.

Haven’t read every comment but I think we’re in the minority we don’t have a problem with it if there has been a little chat then sending a specific picture like touching your ear in the kitchen wouldn’t bother us. On the other side of things we never ask for a face picture or send one unless we have been chatting for a while and looking to meet up.
