Hi Fabbers,

How good or bad are you at reading other peoples body language/non verbal communication?

It’s one of those important things in life and particularly in swinging. To know when to approach someone or not. If they are happy or sad etc.

Would be interested to hear your experiences and views.

I have used it for years in my line of work, and I am in the middle of writing a book on the subject for others in my field.

If anyone would like to learn more on reading body language then you can't go wrong with books by Joe Navarro.

I read Alan Pease years ago, I think his book were some of the first I read.

We’re both a pretty good judge of character but when it comes to body language it’s not so easy.

Sometimes you can just tell, sometimes we get it wrong.

Always fall back to ‘if you don’t ask you don’t get’

Very true about asking. Reading body language is not an exact science but gives someone a good idea about the other people/person
