Much of this site is about fantasy and the notion of indulging in those thoughts isn't always the same as the reality.

Anybody indulged in fantasies only to realise it wasn't for them when it happened?

Yes, first couple I met. Was horrendous. Most of my early experimentation with sexuality. Half the people I meet for casual sex don't live up to their own hype.

I believe most fantasies will never live up to the reality and you shouldn’t fulfil all of your fantasies or you’ll have nothing left to fantasise about, just disappointing recollections.

Yeah lots of times .

I sucked a cock and didn’t like it at all . Tried a few more times over the years and found it just as repugnant .

Had mine sucked and played with many times by TVs and guys , thought I would enjoy it every time , but nope , only a few were any good .

I thought playing with more than one woman at the same time would be amazing , and after plenty of times having done this , I think it’s vastly over rated .

To be honest , not a lot of what the scene offers is anywhere near as good as the hype .

That’s how things were for us for years .

Ever increasing levels of filth and debauchery which were mainly nowhere near as good as we thought they would be .

We haven’t played since May , and my fondest memories are of nights in vanilla pubs seeing my wife copping off with a guy in the corner snug !

And we’ve done stuff that most people wouldn’t even dream of doing , clubs , parties , group you name it we did it .

I can totally relate to this. I did a lot of crazy stuff and always pushed on to the next kink, the next crazy experience. Eventually it was like nothing felt enough, something always missing. Took a step back and found new joy in the simple, the 'vanilla' and the more intimate experience.

Mrs wanted to kiss a complete stranger on a bus stop and she did it, enjoyed the thrill of that outdoor activity. We still talk about it and get turned on.

We won't repeat it as it was a fantasy and want to keep it as it is.

Exactly this , and this reminds me of a similar scenario we did a while back .

We were in a city centre on a Wednesday night , it was about 9.30 . There was a bookies open and the guy that worked there was stood outside having a smoke . That's a great insight. I wonder how many folk ( including myself) would vanish from FAB if we followed that ethos?
