Dress down clubs

After trying a few different styles of club I think for me the dress down format is my favourite. Do get me wrong it's nice to dress up smart but I don't think it results in the same atmosphere. In a dress down club I find the astmophere more comfortable, friendly and conducive to socialising. To me it feels everyone is more on a even level to start. Also I pretty much love any oppertunity not to wear clothes, I'm happiest in just my own skin. Also I find it makes for far less kerfuffle come playtime. Anyone else in favour of the dress down club?

We were worried about naked night at chams, but soon got over the shyness

As for you the comments from OP,

We agree we have been to one club where clothing was kept on till in the play rooms ,

And it’s a passion killer folding your jeans and t shirt! and it was a different vibe from the start!

Prefer having a locker at Infusions or chams where dress down is encouraged

I wish one of the clubs nearby to Sheffield would hold dress down afternoons or evenings. I much prefer that to walking round with a towel which falls down at every opportunity.

Dress down my favourite, it’s just easier, more sociable and has a good laid back vibe.

We are the opposite. We love dressing up to go to the club then have a few drinks in the bar to socialise before changing. My wife normally goes off and changes into some tasteful sexy lingerie and comes back to tease a bit while we chill a bit more before the jacuzzi. We both love to dress up for each other and it gets me (and I hope other guys in the room) very hard when she comes back looking amazing in some little outfit with stockings and heels on.

Dress down preferred here too.

I feel more attractive and relaxed.

If its NOT dress down then usually the guys are smartly dressed and the women are sexily dressed. Puts the woman centre stage which for many is exciting but for others not.

Dress down puts everyone on a level playing field, although women are usually in lingerie. For some it's a bit intimidating.

Have enjoyed both, but Mrs prefers the dress down and finds it less intimidating than being dressed sexily in a room where men are fully clothed.

The only clubs for us, we think its unfair that folk are allowed in in their street clothes whilst the ladies are wearing sexy attire.

It feels alien to us.

So far I have only experienced a dress down club. I'll admit that I was extremely self conscious in the build up to going, but the atmosphere was not at all intimidating (and the excellent company made for an unforgettable night too). Hopefully we will be adding to that experience soon, be it another dress down club or otherwise

What you say makes sense. The reason it started this thread was based on a recent experience were I went to a place were people dressed up and to be fair we enjoyed ourselves. It seemed strange to me watching many of the women walking and dancing around in lingerie or topless and all the men suited and booted.

Later on I left the play rooms to get some very much needed refreshment for me and My Girl. First I had to negotiate the the pile of clothes and shoes (the idea of and visuals of is pretty hot by the way) to get out the door. Then as I am at the bar I noticed I was the only male in the bar just in underwear. Every other male was fully dressed and booted. Most of the women whoever were dressed down. I was very aware I was the odd one out. Not that I care, I very comfortable in my own skin and used to being a bit of a misfit. In fact I'm pretty much like a pig in shit when I don't have clothes on. So once the fun had started there's no way my clothes were going back on. Just seems strange to me that people get dress up and then after playing get dressed up again.

Plus I really do think the clothes affect the atmosphere and maybe to some extent provide a barrier.

This is where Holland trumps the UK hands down. Not only are the clubs much classier but the format truly works too. Fun4two for example is one entry price with all drinks and food included, and it is top notch too. The initial vibe is dressy and everyone looks good. Then at a certain time everyone has to dress down to just lingerie and it takes on a new sexy vibe. Nothing in the UK compares, which is a shame, but it is worth the effort to get across there a couple of times a year.

I prefer dress up clubs or clothing optional, it feels like a bigger night out and a bit more special. Also I feel more comfortable and confident in that environment. I prefer to undress when I choose to not when told to.

It only works though if clubs enforce a proper dress code though.

Couldn't agree more. Don't know if different formats appeal to different age groups...?

We used to be put off by dress down clubs due to insecurities.

However since going to Cupid's after hearing such great things, we bit the bullet and we haven't looked back.

I think the atmosphere is definitely much better. XX

Dressdown for us, much more sexy than naked. Clothed clubs in street clothes doesn't have the same vibe for us either, especially where single men walk around in groups

Agreed, although I like the others as a regular club goer I certainly don't want to be dress g up in a suit to go out to play casual clothes are more expensive than formal nowadays and I ant be bothered to explain that at the more formal clubs so tend to avoid now. Dress down is the ultimate leveller.

I definitely prefer dress down clubs for all these reasons. Went to the opening night of a local club that isn’t dress down and the amount of people on their mobiles at the bar was disturbing. My friend reported a couple of people but it seemed to fall on deaf ears. We didn’t stick around too long anyway. Much prefer Chams or Cupids.

D likes to keep her sexy mini dress on or mini skirt and sexy top, stockings and so on..she feels more comfy semi- dressed, especially regarding her age. It just makes her feel more sexy and more confident.
