It’s safe but I booked a room in the same Hotel to get changed in and so I’d have a place for safety if things got nasty.

It's what we do, no problems yet but, would say we do choose our meets carefully.

We tend to meet established people on the scene with a solid verification trail and are clearly used to hotel meets.

There's an element of danger to all meets, afterall you're meeting strangers, eliminating that aspect is impossible but reducing that via your selection process will certainly help.

Good luck

As above.

Hotel meets are great.

All on neutral territory, also if you feel its not for you, then it's easy to make a quick exit.

near you...

We frequently do hotel meets and they are all safe. There's a big difference though between Premier Inn and 4/5-star joints. PM us for recommendations

So the guys are paying for the hotel? What is your concern? Insist on communication first. Check veris and if not comfortable don't go.

If it's not for you then walk away and move on.

Its part and parcel of the scene. Not saying its right but it helps you make your mind up quick.

One bit of advice.

Once you doubt a message.

Think about it, wait a day or two to reply.

Trust your instincts.

In a sleepy little village

I much prefer hotel meets. I wouldn't consider going to anyones house unless I had met them a few times

We used to call it the walk of shame & be very embarrased, but now we call it the walk of smugness! We're sure all the staff know what we do, and we don't care!

Of course it's safe if you're meeting another couple. Surely people arrange to meet in the bar first to chat. After all, they may not look like their photos in their profile. You will either feel comfortable to go upstairs with them or you won't. Common sense.

Preston

I’m a regular visitor to Manchester and stay in local hotels. I’ve been very fortunate to meet a couple at my hotel the last two weekends.

A couple of drinks in the bar before we moved upstairs to the room. It was great fun!!

We have had many hotel meets before we moved up north

Best advise is don’t book one where you have to walk past reception to the lift

This is for your benefit as most hotels are so busy they don’t know who is staying or who is coming in for a quick shag

Peterborough

We tend to meet at a pub for a social and then decide if we are up for anything. Typically we would then meet at a club and lastly after building confidence we would do a hotel meet. We like hotel meets as you aren’t keeping your eye on a clock knowing that closing time is coming like in a club.

If you talk with the hotel about really not wanting to be disturbed, they will many times leave an empty room between you and the next customer.
