How many of the warning symptoms of a sex addiction do you have? They might include:

•Certain types of behaviour such as frequent casual sex, multiple affairs when you're in a relationship or high-risk sex

•Excessive use of pornography

•Feeling worried about the possible behavior

•Wanting to stop or change your sexual behaviour

•Feeling unable to stop, despite wanting to

•Using sex as a way to cope with other problems

•Needing more sex to get the same fulfillment

•Feeling very low or guilty after

•Spending large amounts of time planning or engaging in sex

•Missing important social events or even work in order to pursue sex

No, cos:

I dont want to stop

I'm not unable to stop (we had a 3 year break from it all)

Dont feel low or guilty after, I feel fecking fantastic

Don;t use sex to cope with any problems

Wouldn't miss any important social event for a shag.

Certainly not worried about my behaviour, I celebrate it!

I refused..

I never feel guilty.. Do I miss things.. well depends on what it is.. kids school plays hell no I wouldnt miss them for sex...

Do I always need more after I get some.. YES....

Could I stop.. YES if my Master was getting no enjoyment from it or I wasnt..

Hmmmmm, we love a lots of sex, but guess we're not addicts in this sense.

•Certain types of behaviour such as frequent casual sex, multiple affairs when you're in a relationship or high-risk sex

We have frequent intense sex, we always have affairs jointly, and risk is considered.

•Excessive use of pornography

Enjoy watching porn (preferably live!) but prefer making it

•Feeling worried about the possible behavior

Not worried in the slightest

•Wanting to stop or change your sexual behaviour

Definitely don't want to stop!

•Feeling unable to stop, despite wanting to

Don't want to so doesn't count

•Using sex as a way to cope with other problems

Nope

•Needing more sex to get the same fulfillment

Imagination and trying different things yes. Just more, not really.

•Feeling very low or guilty after

Feel fantastic (if rather tired) after

•Spending large amounts of time planning or engaging in sex

Probably true, planning parties is a lot of work

•Missing important social events or even work in order to pursue sex

Well, we're taking an afternoon off tomorrow to go to a party...!

Reason I posted was that this week sees the release of Steve McQueen's film Shame, which focuses on sex addiction and its on the BBC website.

My road to 'Swingersville' started over 20 years ago attending a german nudist club, then got into swinging 15 years ago.

Oh my, love steve mcqueen. My dad was the first to get the laser disk, you know vhs's comptetion, and what competition they were! My dad refused to admit he'd made an error in judgement and buy a vhs recorder. It meant that it was only the first 5 disks that he bought were the ones we were stuck with and most of them fetured steve mcqueen. At the time I could have happily punched good old steve in the face if I ever saw him, now I see him as a legend of my childhood!

blimey, you've got far to mcuh time on your hands lol

For me swinging is a way of getting sex because im single, its just more convenient to meet people this way for sex as everyone knows where they stand and what we're after, rather than bedding people i know from my 'none fab' life who could take my attention the wrong way

nothing more nothing less, when im horny i meet lol

We got into swinging through watching porn, and we both really enjoy sex; together, with other people and occasionally alone. We would say we're highly sexed rather than addicted, but in the eyes of the once-a-week same day, same time, same position average person, we're probably seen as hopeless addicts. Doesn't bother us!

What's wrong with lots of varied sex anyway? Isn't it the most natural of activities? Before the church arrived to make everyone feel guilty, groupsex and promiscuity were normal.
