I’m hoping people will be more sensible with photo requests in 2019!

Why do so many say ‘no face pics, no reply’ and yet they don’t show any themselves? A lot of us have private pics we can share and happy to swop but this won’t happen unless people chat to each other first.

Even that seems too difficult for some. The other week a couple replied to a nice message I’d sent saying ‘no pic, no reply’ but when I tried to send one found they’d blocked me!! The annoying thing is I don’t have a clue what they look like (except for tits and cock) so what planet are some people on?!!

I hope 2019 is better but tbh not holding my breath.

If I message first then I will attach a photo as well and I like it to be the same when others message me first. We all do things in our own way I suppose.

i have a rule now if a person sends me a message first then its that person that sends a pic first after all they messaged me ..if a pic is sent and for what ever reason i dont like im not going to send one back am i ?? ....

That's how it should be, personally I always send a face pic with a first message, then no ones time is wasted.

You have to remember that couple's and single ladies get massive amounts of mail everyday, we can't possibly reply to every message so if there is nothing to entice us we just delete.

A nice face pic will (nearly) always get a response.

Mostly pics dont matter it seems, so many on here have lots if veris with no pic at all so mist on here must be happy ro meet a goat, our p

Couple profile gets loads of messages,wanting fun and we haven't got any public only in friends but still folk are happy to want to shag any or what, crazy

I can completely understand why so many people are very discrete with their face showing on here and respect their need for privacy

For me meeting people on here is about the physical attractiveness primarily. Some would deem that shallow but I’m not looking for anything more than a hot sexual encounter with someone that I fancy the pants off. I dong need a fb, bf or anything more than a meet that could turn into a meet again.

Everyone finds attractiveness in different ways but that’s just my honest answer

To be fair attaching a face pic to a message does show your serious . Like it or like it not fab is a woman’s and couples world single guys have a lot of competition so you need to be as competitive

If I message someone first , I'm happy to send my face picture.

I don't speak to anyone without a face picture. Attraction is top of my list so there's no point in me chatting to someone that I don't find attractive. Saves disappointment on both sides then

OP. If you want to increase your chances of meeting just send a face pic with your opening message. It will still be deleted by most but you'll get more replies thus more chances to meet, it really is that simple. If we send a message we ALWAYS attach face pics, it's the done thing here, we'd be surprised if we got a response without doing so.

Did the couple in question have something on their profile saying "no face pic no reply" OP? If so you can't really complain as you didn't conform to their request when you sent them a message, no matter how "nice" that message might have been.

I don't often send unsolicited messages with a view to getting to know someone and potentially meet, but when I do I always include a face pic - much better to establish attraction up front than get several messages down the line for them to say "oh sorry you seem lovely but there's no attraction"

Don’t think we state anything about face pics on our profile. If I like the messages and the way they are going I’ll send a face pic, annoys me when we don’t get one back. And if I ask for one and they refuse I normally stop chatting wish them all the best!

If someone says "no face pic, no reply" why message without a face pic? It might be unreasonable, it might be unfair, it might be rude and hypocritical but it is what they request and they make it clear they don't respond without one. The easiest solution for everyone is to either not message people you feel make unreasonable demands or acquiesce to their demands.

We don’t reply to messages with out face pics. We have a set type of person we want to meet with so if you haven’t given us that opportunity to see if you fit that in the first message then we won’t waste our time asking for you to send it in the next message.

If you have found someone you like I don’t see why you wouldn’t send a face pic with the first message . As your gonna be sending it on the second if you are lucky enough to get a reply to the first .

If face pics are displayed in their profile then it’s resonable to request face pics on first message and I will do this. But if there’s no face pics I will wait and see how the messages go first but face pics are usually sent by around the 3rd message

I totally agree. Discretion is a big thing for me so I ain't ever sending face pics to anyone until I'm positive that I'm not talking to my dentist or John & Shirley next door.

In the 2 months that I've been back on here I've received 2 unsolicited face pics (2 couple & 1 guy) of people I know outside of Fab. The guy from the couple was someone I actually sacked at work a few years back, and I'm not sure how his discretion would mix with his vindictiveness. Not worth the risk for me.

Personal preferences I guess but I simply move on when I see people using that line, not like there is a shortage of other sexy people on here

but there's no drama attached to requesting a face picture before you chat.

I agree that you should bypass profiles you aren't compatible with though.

agree we try see people on camera in the rooms but now most use phone's thay can't cam except kik or Skype that then takes you to just being private with the one person

I’m quite aware that sending face pics is important but my point was that if the recipient hasn’t shown theirs publicly then (a) they can hardly moan about not getting pics with first messsge and (b) they can simply ask for one if they like the rest of my profile

After all, I also get messsges out of the blue without photos but I don’t have a strop and delete the messsge or block the sender. I look at it as a starter for ten.

Totally agree which is why I said what I said. But then if they state it one their profile it’s their loss if they don’t respond to you if you don’t send one. Forget about them and move on!

Pretty. Much this is the only issue I have with that line. If I could be 100% sure similar situations would not arise I'd have no issue other wise. I'd prob have my face everywhere haha

Agreed. I don't ask for face pictures, I would rather chat first. But I'd respect the wishes of the person I was messaging.

I have sort of the opposite problem. I'll get messages with face pictures attached and guys will get offended that I delete them. Chicks like face pictures, I expect a reply! Uh. No.

Or sometimes the messages (sometimes where I can see a face picture, sometimes from a blank profile) demanding a face picture. Then getting pissed off when I don't reply or say no.
