I must admit I don't like it, but then who does? But I accept it and don't make a nuisance of myself if I get rejected, just move on. I think it's a personal thing rather than a male/female thing. Just my opinion though x

In my opinion...

Men over 40.

I have only had abusive mail from guys over 40.

The 20 to 30 age range have always thanked me for taking the time to say no and left it at that.

being told no is a lot better than looking in your sent box and seeing your message deleted more manners to it :D

We've been turned down more often than an old pair of hand me down keks.

It's part and parcel of life on a sex site.

We have our moments too though, usually from people who can't accept our preferences, but still try to get us to change to their way of thinking.

You just need to grow a thick skin and there aren't many as thick as me

Men don't like it, but we get used to it! (come on, most of the time boyfriends get dumped, not girlfriends...)

I think it really depends on the situation as well as people's personalities.

Line 2 appears to be missing the word SOME

Please don't taint us all with your opinion. Ta

The ones that try to do this are usually the ones who handle it worst of all!

Definitely, there's nothing worse than writing out a message (not the one liners that everyone complains about) and it getting deleted straight away. Pure demoralizing and rude.

If i contacted a cpl/female then im fine with rejection, where as im contacted by a cpl/female saying they like my profile, asking to chat on msn to swap face pics, i do get pissed off when as soon as they get the face pic they just say no thanks and just block you. All they have to do is just say im not for them, and ill happily delete their msn.

I don't think gender comes into it. Some people are just naturally better equipped to take life than others.

The only people who have kicked off about me rejecting them are people with no worthwhile profile pics, a poor profile and a message that says something like, 'I want to do you so hard.'

But then these tend to be newbies on here rather than more experienced swingers.

get the dummy spitters and tantrum throwers in ALL catigories ! its down to the indervidule/s who messages . some are very respectful and take your no at face value .others think more they go on that youll give up and just say "ok ill meet you " .then theres the negotiators ... dispite your clear prference they will ask "but why not" and "ahh but what if,... " tryng to convince you to meet em. oh and you cant forget my personal favourites the abusive and tantrum throwers ! they go from the "i am a respectful ..blah blah blah " to childish "well your too ugley anyway ect ect ".always makes me giggle how quick i can go from such a stunning creature to creature from the black lagoon pmsl ! none of the above and the domaine of just one group as ive said ,goes across all of them.

personally id not be so vaine or deluded to think id be irresistible to everyone on fab that id never get knocked back lol !!

I can cope with rejection. What does annoy me is not getting a response to a message even if it's "no thanks". Just plain rude!

"I can cope with rejection. What does annoy me is not getting a response to a message even if it's "no thanks". Just plain rude! "

not rude at all . link on home page to frequent q and a s that states this .

plus lots of threads awell which will give you they meny reasons ppl choose not to replie even with "no thanks " . from my exsprience just causes more bother than its worth with some ppl getting abusive or wanting you to validate your descision .sorry but makes mre sense to spend my time talking to those i may want to meet ,not ping pong mail to those ive said no to already

I can cope with rejection. However please can people put what they mean on their profile. I have had several occasions where I have been told "i/we would never go with someone as old as you". However the reason I contacted them in the first place was that I was within the range stated on their/her profile.

you will find the reactions differ when a male posts to when a female does.

the female will get 'his fecking loss sweetie, you are too hot for him anyways.'..... and there is only a pic of a nipple on show.

the guy will get 'stop fecking moaning and it's not dial a shag'... ( albeit, sometimes appropriate )

Move on, don't revert to shouting about it in the forums otherwise you only add to your problems.

Don't forget the differences in how the post opens.

The guy will start moaning after a few weeks when they have been repeatedly being blocked, repeatedly ignored and repeatedly sent off hand messages.

Women tend to post after just once.

life is surely too short to get upset that someone ignored you, deleted an email without reading it or didn't reply back. As you were all told when you were young, there are plenty more fish in the sea. Now, if you're a plankton, that's worrying, but shrug it off, dust yourself down and send a message to someone else less discerning (oops, did I mean 'more' discerning).

A site like this requires patience, an ability to have some banter and not be bothered about anyone ignoring you. Ladies on this site get inundated with lots of emails every day. Who has time to read them all? Luck, and a sense of humour are essential requisites for anyone on here.

Think bit of both really, but in my dealings I have politely turned down meets with cpls/single fems to be told im a single man and should be greatful for any offers I get!

If im 'rejected' as you put it via message I always email back saying thanks for your reply, and all the best

Must admit we did once get someone who messaged all our friends telling them the most horrendous vile things about us after we had politely declined to meet them .... very sad ..... lovely thing was we were bombarded with messages of support from our true fab friends x x
