Can take on many forms dependant upon taste. I (he) get that look but it's a bit too much for me, and dated. I couldn't imagine Kate Middleton wearing it, would look a bit trashy imo. Agent provocateur outfits look classy in my opinion, trashy no doubt to others. Or the opening night of the proms when men and women wear a tux or evening wear, classy albeit non sexy (imo).

Up on them there hills

Saw a lady in a gorgeous tailored suit climb into the driving seat of a Range Rover, skirt split slightly to show a stocking top.

Been looking for that car ever since.

My work outfit usually consists of a beautifully fitted Thomas Pink shirt teamed with a basic M&S skirt. My favourite tailor!

Classy does not come from what one wears but by the way one holds oneself or addresses other

I don't think the tight pencil skirt, blouse, heels and stockings says classy. It's basic office wear from the past.

Or, what we all wore in 1980/81 as a fashion statement.

I remember trying to run for the bus to Ilford Palais in a pencil skirt and heels. It wasn't a classy run

I have to be smart for work, I feel great in a pencil skirt. Hold ups are much more comfortable than tights. Only a small heel though.

I have to wear suits everyday for work, it does give me an air of confidence sorely needed when speaking to room with 200+ people in it...
