As we both have such things ......

Ladies first - Her VCH looks devine, adds sensation, has a lovely hint of wicked and finally is a handy place to store a spare polo mint !

Well given the amount of discussion this topic has had not just here but on other BDSM sites not to mention on BME apart from such spurious "well a friend said ..." type of 3rd party gossip nobody has ever actually stated where or when they had an issue with their piercings and, from personal experience, having travelled across europe to numerous fetish events with heavily pierced people nobody has ever even set the thing off ............

varies from person to person

I know women who have their hood pierced and say its wonderful, ive never been overly sensative down there so i had mine done about 10 years ago now to see if it would help and it never made any difference at all to me

Depending on the system used for electrical body searches, if a wand type is used (not the dirty ones!) then they don't pick up titanium and similar metals.

The main scanners in airports are different though.

Same goes for the supermarket tagging systems, they can't be set off by piercings, mobile phones etc etc just the tags used in stores.

piercings do not set off walk through metal detectors, they may set off hand held body scanners, if they do you are within your rights to explain you have piercings , you will then be examined by a same sex officer in private.

i just didnt want anyone to be misinformed.

Two reasons really -

1. They can increase sensitivity; we know women with pierced nipples and clit hoods who say they really help. One friend has one nipple pierced, and says it's much more sensitive than the unpierced one.

2. They look very erotic, to some people anyway.

Thank you. I too have seen people being stopped with the wand scanners. Not that popular in Europe but the American security love the wands. I think they all believe their Harry Potter!

I've only been stopped once because of my piercings, and that was in Marrakesh with a wand scanner.

That was a battle and a half explaining where my piercings were with a male security guard who didn't speak English!

The wands have a test button on certain models that you press to see if it is working correctly.

Next time someone wants to try using it on you, ask to do it yourself so they aren't trying to get a free view of your intimate piercing.
