Is it ok to swing when you are in a relationship

I am married but swing . We did swing as a couple some time ago but she decided it was not for her but I enjoyed it and still do . Morally it’s wrong but ....

So........

You did swing together but then she decided it’s not for her. So now you swing alone?

If she knows then it’s fine. If she doesn’t then you’re cheating and we’d say it isn’t.

Kind of think you already know the answer to whether it's ok. If there's no permission, it's just cheating, not swinging.

We have decided not to swing with one half of a couple, because even though they may have permission, we firstly can't always trust that if we dont speak to the other half and we also feel that we would still be cheating in some way or that it may just cause complications so would just prefer to not even be involved.

That's just what We think though... x

If it's truly ok with your wife, then I don't see a problem. I would be disappointed if my husband still wanted to swing and I didn't and we've always said when one wants to stop, we would both stop. It's a lifestyle we enjoy as a couple and it wouldn't work for either of as singles

I was swinging before I got with my other half 6 months ago and yes he knew before we got together (we have been friends with him for 3 yrs). Clubs aren't his thing but he drops me off and picks me up, he kept saying not to change who I am and not to stop going... Just bring home a lovely lady to join us!!

What I'm saying is if it's in the open theres no issue in my opinion xx

ahhhh but he's not saying she knows he's continuing and to be fair in my experience this happens a lot, one or other of the couple enjoys the life more than the other.

All the replies so far thank you.. deep down and being truly honest and yes she knows it is is still being “untrue” to the spirit of marriage and yes maybe I should be single but I do enjoy exploring other people and of course the variety

If you haven't sat down and discussed it with her and she's OK with it, you aren't swinging, you're cheating. If you have then enjoy.
