FabSwingers.com forum: I'm now convinced that fab is much better when on as a couple

Definitely NOT a rant but an observation from three years of being on fab. Do others agree?

I think couples enjoy more success-they seem to have a network of friends on fab and have repeat meets which is always good -to me the whole concept of swinging is better suited to couples (real couples) playing with other couples. Obviously it's perhaps difficult if you are a new couple on fab trying to get meets. But there are far too many single guys on here who are desperate for a meet and it shows a mile away.

Btw I did have a couples profile but we were just friends with benefits so it petered out -perhaps inevitably.

I don't know about the couple experience, but I definitely have friends here, which enhances my experience enormously. I wouldn't stay otherwise.

Some would say swinging is about couples anyway but I think that's a bit outlasted.

We might not be typical of other couples but we don't have a network of friends or repeat meets. In fact we find it fairly difficult to meet people who are on the same page as us or who are genuinely interested. That isn't a complaint because we realise it's probably us who are out of step.

I think there are singles and couples who are very successful

We can only comment from a couples perspective but it works well for us. More on a social level prior to club nights and then for keeping contact with new people we meet when out and about. If we were ever single I think we wouldn't bother with fab unless we had a specific fantasy we wanted to achieve.

We only really meet single males, but I think the experience with them is different as a couple too. I had a single female profile for a while and there's a noticeable difference in messages when there's a male listed on the profile too.

As a woman you do have to be tough, mean, and have a strong stomach. I dry heave at some messages much less than I used to.
