Am in the wrong?

So...I just messaged a woman (single profile) who's looking for a meet tonight, she then said her and her husband would be free at 11??

I said "oh, sorry, no thanks, thought I'd be just meeting you"

I then got called a fag???

And it was my fault apparently because I've got couples on my profile?

But surely if I message someone I think I'm meeting as a single female???

It's not me in the wrong is it???

Sorry, your not wrong but your not right either.

Some ladies have a single profile but may still be married or have a partner so you really need to check the facts of WHAT SHE WANTS before you assume she wants a one on one standalone meet.

Complicated I know.

Does she/they have verifications that say they are a couple? Does she have any verifications at all?

It's not your fault whatsoever but you have to do your homework on people and not let your cock rule your head. Sometimes when you take a step back and focus on a profile the tell tale signed all of a sudden jump out.

Block and move on my friend.

No you're not. Report them for choosing the wrong sex. They're not a single female. They're being dishonest.

This. More than likely just a guy in the first place.

Sorry, but single people are not allowed to advertise to meet as a couple. A single profile should be meeting on their own.

This

Advertising a meet as a single fem then changing the goal posts is wrong.

We don't have to do homework to ascertain whether someone has chosen a single profile for couple's meets.

I have never asked a man if he meets with his wife or girlfriend as he shouldn't be, if he's contacting me on a single male profile.

Bingo.

I do sometimes (rarely) meet someone with my FWB, but I'm clear about that from the outset, and it's very much the exception not the rule (and where it happens I or he will usually be approaching, not the other way around, and it's clear from message one). Barring that, if I've agreed to meet you, you'll be meeting me, as I'm not a couple.

But yes, naming and shaming is trashy and against the rules.

I’ve just removed my post as it’s been suggested his profile may have been suspended. Hopefully so. Totally out of order.

Not really sure why you have reply & quoted what I have have said? You either didn't read my post correctly or the OP's post correctly. I don't really understand what you are saying tbh.

Right or wrong it doesn't realy matter, but there is no need to be rude or abusive, especially over something so silly ??

You are not in the wrong as whilst you messaged about meeting, you have the right to refuse it the meet criteria are not to your liking.

There was no reason for insults from her and I hope you did lower yourself to her standards.
