nice village

why do clubs open so late and even then why does it take so long for anything to happen. Been to a couple of clubs and left at 12:30 nothing happening and we were falling asleep (sober as well).

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

My biggest gripe too! I`m no night owl and through habit am an early riser (no, no that sort of riser!) so by 11.00pm am starting to flag! This means I barely get two hours in some clubs. Thank goodness for Chams opening from 2.00pm!

I know some need time to get ready after having worked during the day but I still think many clubs are missing custom by leaving it so late to open.

i dont get this either...i reckon far to many people need to be pissed to play...im usually the first upstairs...causing much amusement..

Greedy girls nights tend to start earlier...if they are your thing

Chams is open daytimes

A;few other clubs, adam and eves,S3cr3ts do day time parties.

Otherwise,us lot jut have to all invade a club

yeah i agree on that it can take upto nearly closing time for the fun to start so i normally just get down to it when i arrive with hubby and most of the time people follow and the fun starts straight away. but yeah sometimes it takes ages for things to heat up.

well do something about it......

you can sit there waiting on everyone else, or you can just go an play and be the 1st up there........

Couldn't agree more with this post!

This often is replicated with house parties and even private meets, as a busy professional I like to be tucked up by 11.30 at latest during the week! x

If it opened late and you left at 12:30 you hardly gave it a chance!

I agree, ive walked round clubs before and nothings been happening, found someone and gone into a room and within 5 mins the rooms been full, it only takes one person to kick it of, be that one person

Hold on....

All clubs open late!

Why should a swingers club be any different?

If you need to be in bed by 11:30..dont go to clubs!

Thats exactly why we enjoy Chameleons at Darlston they open at 11am, nice relaxing day and can be home for the evening if want to.

I shall be there on 19th January brighta nd early on my own (hopefully not for long) to enjoy a nice day.

We've often wondered why more clubs don't open their doors a lot earlier. It would make life a lot easier for those of us who need babysitters. Spa-type clubs do offer daytime and early evening opening, but if you want more of a dancing/party atmosphere then it's usually a very late night/early morning affair.

Most clubs we have been to they dont start to fill up till at least 12.

Pointless to open any earlier.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I must admit I prefer early evening meets because I like to be tucked up in bed by midnight midweek. However I go to Isis on a Friday which gives me plenty of time to recover from a late night. I get there for 9pm, sit and chat and catch up til about 10.30, then find a nice man to play with after that. By 1.30-2am I am definitely flagging but will have had a good 2 hours fun by then. Home and in my jammies by 3am. I think a late night twice a month isn't too bad.

Isis opens in the afternoons from midweek onwards and I know other clubs do so thats an option.

near bury st edmunds

Guess things dont get started till late as ppl like to socialise first, for us a club is not always all about the play we see it as a nice night out to catch up with ppl. Love to play but its usually later on in the night.

Like lots have said nothing stoping the ppl who want to go early to go off and play early. x

I`d prefer the club to be open so I could start the action!

London

We know that some clubs don't open their doors until later often because of the owners / hosts prior commitments, re other work etc. But lobbying can change that as Jed did with Atlantis Evolution, finally persuading the new owners to open their doors an hour earlier.

Another factor will obviously be how busy the club is and if it can justify the extra revenue over costings for an earlier opening.

Spa clubs often function as just that during the day, even Chams has always been a dedicated swingers venue from day one. So they serve a dual function anyways. If a club is more 'dance' orientated and a lot of people on the scene do like to have a bop, then they're unlikely to open at 7pm for that reason.

Fortunately there is a lot of clubs out there to choose from.
