For me there’s no hard and fast rule of when someone exchanges numbers but I have found the fact I only meet first time in a club and it’s in my profile has helped filter some of the time wasters

I’ve had the same from a pretty sparse local female, no photos at all, demanded a face pic off me and got stroppy when I declined as for all I knew she could be a hairy arsed man.

We tend to chat for a week or so if it’s a mmff meet we bring up the possibility of the girls talking to each other . It’s certainly not as regimented as your itinerary. We are happy to send face pics if we are a) attracted to the profile and b) compatible (both looking for the same thing). But sending pics within 12 hours seems a tad severe

Bit to fast for our liking. Yes a female to female chat if required but not within 24 hours on starting to chat maybe if we were starting to arrange to meet. The most effective method we have is a combination of checks the killer one being when we ask for a social meet first with both being present. That kills roughly 95% of the conversations off as soon as we mention it.

You need to understand people have real lives with jobs, friends and kids away from fab and aren't likely to want to jump through your particular hoops.

With those sorts of demands you’ll be putting the majority of the site off. When you demand the photo signed and dated do you send something similar first? Fair’s fair!

We all need to exercise due diligence to ensure we’re meeting people who are what they say and jot just time wasters, but in my opinion this is taking the piss, it’s taking it way too far. But, saying that, if it works for you op then no one else’s opinion matters

perhaps this is a particular reason for not getting anywhere...

you'd have to bear in mind many wouldn't jump through hoops from just a photoverified couple being on the site for several months.

and a possibility for the ops reasoning is flawed that the women/cpls they communicate with dont reply to such demands is more likely a case of the other party saying.."nah, fuck that...bye"

even the forum being a small percentage of fab....I think this mustwriteonbitsofpaper approach would deflect much interest throughout fab.

No I think it is you missing the point.

There are an awful lot of very experienced and well verified singers commentin on this thread that the wouldn't do this. People don't like jumping through hoops. And personally the last sort of people I want to meet are those with such a dogmatic way of "proving" that others are genuine

I wouldn’t want to do what you asked, partly because it sounds a bit demanding. Having said that, if it’s something that is discussed sensibly with the other people then it possibly wouldn’t sound that demanding. I would be mindful about how I put it to them though and I’m not sure it’s something you could convey in a non demanding way on your profile.

2. If you were asked to provide the same by a couple who responded to your message, or one you were attracted to, would you jump through such hoops? Something tells me you wouldn't, if you really think you're better than other couples on the site.

I refuse to give my.number out before a first meet. If I meet a guy and we get on then I may give him my number if he asks for it. But I prefer to do everything on here. I wouldn't dream of speaking to someone over the phone, I would organise a social meet and go from there.

I guess I'd be an "instant" fake because I don't swap phone numbers until close to meeting and I only meet after a very long time talking and chatting. There are a lot of tangible as well as intangible ways to get a sense of who's genuine and who's fake. I've come across a lot more REAL women and couples who take you for a ride than pretending blokes.

There's no problem with single guys being on here. Couples often like threesomes or more and you can't really do that without guys. What really spoils the site for me is some of the incredibly negative profile statements. Fakes are very easy to spot, just have a giggle when you see one and forget about it.

I understand where the OPs are coming from.

I get messages from "couples", some very plausible, some verified.

I can pretty much guarantee 80per cent of them aren't genuine. It's usually just the male half , or there is no female half atall, just a lone male fishing for wank material.

I ask to phone verify with the fem early in, and that's generally when the messages dry up.

Only seems to be a problem on here, I've had couples meets outside of here without all the above weird shit.

So yes I can see why the OPs want to verify the couple is genuine early on.

Sorry Minnie The Minx but I don't think we are missing the point whatsoever. In 5 years of being on Fab we have never yet fallen into the trap of a single guy pretending to be a couple.

If a couple message us. We then do our homework so to speak, are they photo verified? Do they have verifications? Do they have photos? If the answer is YES to all those then we will always converse, if the answer is NO, then we politely decline. We would never ask or expect to be asked to hold up a piece of paper with our/their names on it.

If anyone asked us to those things we would decline or ignore them....to us, it reads the way you have put it that you are very demanding and the meet (if there was to be one) would be very restricted and mechanical. If those are the hard rules you set just to chat then we would wonder on the strict rules and timing on the itinery you would set when meeting ....each to thier own I suppose but its not for us . You can generally get a good feel if people are real after checking everything seems ok profile wise and relaxed chat ....the odd ones always slip up

To be honest the basic chat filter works better than anything like photos or phone calls which we also ask for after at least a rudimentary level of communication has been established via messenger.

For example we might just let the initial ‘hi hows you ‘ message slide if the couple have something on their profile that sends the right message. We will always send a reasoned response with an open question about what they are after or what we would want from a first meeting etc but unfortunately most are are only capable of words of one syllable or when asking which bit of our profile they like the answer ‘all of it ‘ just doesn’t leave us anywhere to go.

So if you cannot establish even rudimentary levels of conversation and getting an idea about who we are letting into our personal life means face pics and verification are moot as social interaction is important to us for better play we would never even get to the girls proving all are genuine point without basic communication to start with.

As a rule we avoid profiles with a long list of negativity and demands we are here to have fun not conform to others expectations you like us or you don’t we have our fun and contacts enough without worrying what anyone new wants from us were here for friends and fun not jumping through hoops

There is no way we would ever swap numbers with anyone here. It’s why we avoid WhatsApp too.

Kik has proved a useful tool. No number swap required but you can see both halves of the couple typing (simultaneously) which is hard to fake - with coherent messages at least
