It does to me, I want someone I can hold a conversation with and that's easier with people closer to my own age with common experiences, and I want someone with plenty of stamina who I find attractive. Not saying that rules out every guy below and above my age range but it helps filter numbers.

I tend to prefer guys below 35, however, there are always exceptions to the rules. For my sanity though, when I am actively looking for new male playmates then my filters are strictly set to under 35s as I can't be arsed to deal with the extra messages, mostly from guys I don't fancy. If I happen to find a guy I like that is over that limit then I will contact him

We met a girl in a club not so long ago. She had just turned 50 and was feeling sorry for herself. She is absolutely stunning by the way people. We found we got on very well and the conversation flowed. When we got home we went to message her to say what a great chat we had and was lovely to meet her. At swingers clubs I never ask someone their age, if your attracted to each other and are getting along then that is all that matters to go off to a room and have sex.

I tend to agree with you that for sex, age does not really matter, it's attraction that matters, but for a relationship it certainly would. I cannot see a relationship lasting with a significant age difference.

Some of the best sex I've had was with blokes much older and much younger than me so age is relative. It's also situational. In an intense group session age, looks all get blurred and the sex is all that matters. In most other situations for me it's the mental connection that leads to great sex irrespective of age.

Obviously, there is the legal age to consider and I’m assuming we are all on board with that? Okay, so...

Age and how it impacts physically on a person is not consistent to be a meter in its own right. A heavy smoking, hard drinking and poor lifestyle person at 50 wont be in better condition than a non smoking, clean living gym bunny of the same age. It is but a number.

I wouldn’t approach a woman who was technically young enough to be my daughter. I would avoid teenagers for this reason. If I was approached by ladies in their twenties and up, then thank you. I have no upper limit.

There are far to many factors and attributes to use age and age alone.
