You asked if it was shallow. I don't think it is. Is it shallow to buy another pair of shoes when you already have a cupboard full, is it shallow to book yourself a spa day ? ......No, it is recreational, not shallow.

I'm just trying to work it out how you can compare human beings having sex to buying a pair of shoe I thought human feelings were a bit deeper than that not having a go by the way xx

Think dating sites might have deeper meaning , unless it's "uniform dating" or tinder.

I think this site does what it says on the tin and anything more is a happy accident.

Have you started another thread? It's we are not where and in my case I'm not here just for sex and many here aren't intelligent and some are very shallow, you will find something of everything here we are all different and require different things from the site

Is just seeking sex shallow? Having sex with someone is very initmate and the drive for sex is something very core to many adult humans. I wouldn't the desire for sex and using this site is shallow. But using unethical means and deception in order to fill those desires is very self centred and wrong.

Some people do think its shallow.

Personally I see nothing wrong in shallow behaviour sometimes. What I find difficult is the pretence of depth in an attempt to appear superior.

If it's shallow to search for something that will help you realize your wildest sexual fantasies without any strings and without impinging on your everyday vanilla life then I guess Fab is shallow. But that's fine - persuit of pleasure is always shallow to some extent. For those that are looking for sonething a bit deeper Fab can be useful too, but that's not for us.

Ues human feelings are involved and they're quite complex. I wouldn't use the shoes comparison though. I would use meeting someone for coffee as an example. You meet up have fun getting to know each other a little more and then go your separate ways. Is that shallow, I don't think so.

In the past , we were taught that sex was something to be treasured , something special , something to be shared only with someone special etc..... and now it’s what it is . There are still a few that believe it’s something to be treasured and shared only with that one special person . But by and large , we’ve moved on to see it as something that can be shared with others , and people on a site like this are the very opposite of societies conditioning . The pursuit of sex with random strangers on a web site is about as shallow as it gets . But as long as everyone is up front about it and expects nothing more and nothing less , it’s all good .

Deep and meaningful is between me and hubby. If shallow means using this site to fulfil our fantasies and hopefully fulfilling those of others along the way, then call me the Queen of Shallow

I don't want anything deep from this site, I want random experiences with like-minded people where both sides know the score.

We're all shallow/deep to varying degrees and can make significant life choices based on pretty basic criteria.

Marrying someone for money, rather than love is a common example.
