Whats the best way to start a conversation/ first message on here with other people??

I read the profile and make sure I understand what people say but I still have trouble in creating a first message that gets people talking.

There isn’t really a one size fits all kind of opening message, it depends on the other person’s humour and whether or not they like your profile.

I try and do messages based upon what they say on there profile etc put into time in making them. But they read and delete it in the end.

I always read there profile and base it around the description they have or do stuff they ask to show I have read it. (says in original post)

Use the persons name, then tailor the message for that person...Hi Jen makes me read further, where a Hi there great pics.. I tend to just scan briefly or skip, not a fan of copied n pasted messages you know have been sent to every woman out there!

Just be friendly and use more than one line... ‘can I cum on yout tits’ just gets deleted lol x

That's the best approach OP. We do the same, put in just a little about us and always ask a quick question so they know what to reply to if they find it hard to write something. As you have found, it doesn't always gain a response. We used to write a long detailed respectful first message but when we kept getting them deleted it sort of disheartens you and wonder why folk are so ignorant and don't send back a polite no thank you. We soon learnt fab is a crazy place full of crazy, nice, great and the down right rude people. All we can say, is stay positive, message politely and don't get hung up on being deleted. Fab can be really hard work at times (which is why we went down the club route) stick at it, get to socials so you can show people you are a genuine nice guy and folk will talk. Networking is the only way forward we think. High expectations can frustrate to so try and have no expectations and just get out there and enjoy what life throws at you

Do you include a face pic with your first message?

Had a conversation with a guy whos first message was just Hi! - I replied to say he had won the shortest ever message award - he reckoned he'd tried long messages, short messages and very taylored messages and came down to the conclusion it all depended on the receiver liking his pic or not - and I would tend to agree with him.

Subsequent messages are more important than the first in my opinion.

I like something along these lines

'Hi I'm xxxx, I've read your profile and think that we could hit it off. Why don't you have a look at mine and see what you think' and I'd attach a face pic (Well, I wouldn't but I think it's quite important for a guy to. I know, it's not fair is it?!).

The ball is in their court then. Short and sweet, you don't feel like you've wasted your time then particularly as a lot of people will read and delete if you're not what they're looking for.

Good to see an honest opinion. Yeah a lot of the time you've got no chance if you don't look the part. Women's experience on here is completely different to ours. They get so many messages that the first thing most do is a filter based on attraction, then hear what you have to say. Even then you've got your hands full! Some of the guys are well creative with their messages

But are they asking for messages from single guys matching your profile?

It's no good writing a great message when you're 10 years outside their range, wrong build or they aren't looking for single guys.

And even then they might just not fancy you.
