Male meets request

Is it me or is it completely pointless to set up meet requests if you're a man? Has anyone had any luck from these? Only set up a couple and no joy even when was with another woman looking for additional playmates it was useless until we set one up in her account. Guessing it's just another rubbish thing for men and swinging

Most likely entirely pointless.

Did an experiment with a lady friend who said I’d defintely get replies, we both posted exactly the same meet, social, drinks, see what happens kind of thing. She got lost in replies, I didn’t get a single one.

Stopped posting meets of any kind months ago, never got a single message from any of them, including Wednesday 0 meet club!

Ha! Yeah I did the same with status updates. We both posted asking who was about and surprise surprise I got no replies and we had to delete hers because so many messages came through.

I know the numbers massively weigh in favour of the females but Are blokes just more desperate? Or is it because of the negative stigma surrounding women openly enjoying sex? Either way it sucks

Yes they do work for single guys but mostly if you've already got a good circle of friends within the site. I do know guys on here that get responses but they have really thought out profiles, good pics and have an idea of what they want from the meet and who they want to attend.

I've never posted a meet as a single guy simply because there are so many single guys on her- for people looking for single guys it's a bit like shooting fish in a barrel

Yeah, I've messaged a friend who had a meet request up before now, if I've got no meet and no dance on I might sometimes be up for doing something with someone I already know.

Yeah it's a shame! Imagine how much fun this place would be with equal numbers? People wouldn't have to drop their standards, get bitter about rejection and male meets requests wouldn't be redundant... one can only dream

From my experience, I do browse the meets now and then, but I am out of by the ‘alone in my hotel room, who wants some fun’ or ‘parked up in my truck near you’ as a single girl I’d be intrigued by let’s have a drink and see if the the chemistry is there. Then once started talking you can mention play time and go from there!

Women also get this problem too! I have put meets up as have friends and I struggle to find men of the age I like who seem to be more intellectual than ‘let’s fuck’ I think it’s all about timing too! Xxx

But for women the only worry is finding someone suitable amidst the hundreds of replies. Men get no responses. I can understand why women don't like the let's fuck approach but when you send out hundreds of messages and get no reply, you do start to look to copy and paste messages or really forward messages that get straight to the point

But there is still a point: you are getting messages. If you were a single male posting the request you would receive 0 making the situation a lot harder

Posting a meet as a single male is a waste of time, or appears to be. There’s no substitute for having a concise profile, with clear pictures, saying what you like and what you’re looking for. Posting the odd comment in the forum can help, especially if you can write well, spell, and demonstrate a basic working knowledge of grammar.

I never received a response to the few meets I posted, but do receive winks and messages after I’ve posted here. (Famous last words )

When Mr GR had his own single profile he had replies when he put ads up.

It all depends on what you are looking for, whether you openly advertise your part of a couple and can link to the account to show other verifications, and how your profile reads as well as the ad.

I’ve had many conversations with ladies who find poor grammar a huge turnoff. I’ve never heard of one being turned off by good grammar. I’m only saying what seems to work for me. If you’re not bothered by it that’s fine, many more are.

I kinda see your point. I took to meeting people in person as even with a good well thought out profile if they're not interested they're not. I kind of feel uncomfortable having to sell myself to someone I've never met and not even sure I'm attracted to. Why I find it better done in person. Plus apparently I look better in real like than on pics

Depends on the fart....

I'd argue that a site which is primarily focused on sex and appearance is not the best place for 'real or personal' confidence building
