When I first joined around 5 years ago it was so much easier to get a meet!

There days I'm lucky to even get a reply!

Has to be down to the fact that there are so many men on here now the competition is too much!

Are there any other free sites similar to this that are any better?

I have both of these qualities and have always had great reviews in the past so I don't see what's changed? Apart from the popularity of the site

Add to this, the couples and fems profiles that are guys or scams.

One reply I got yesterday from my messages was "£".

Verification is so tricky nowadays.

I ask, ring my mobile (I won't answer) and leave any kind of message you like, anything at all.

That's usually the last bit of communication.

Fab has been overrun with people who are just looking at chatting on forums and using the site as another version of Facebook, it does make it harder for genuine couples as well to find meets, hence the reason we use clubs more than we did 5 years ago.

I joined as a newbie nearly 3 years ago and I’ve always found it next to useless when it comes to actually meeting people for reasons which have been mentioned before

However if used correctly it’s a great tool that provides lots of invaluable info that enables sexual deviants to have lots of fun

Fab doesn’t owe anyone anything and yes it would be great if you could send out a couple of random messages and get a shag when you fancied but unless you’re a premier footballer or reality star you have to work at it

Most of the profiles now are created by fake profiles. Well in our case! 9/10 don't read the message and when they do - we find out it's a fake profile and ends up being removed. Silly - but the women get so many messages you just have to stand out x

I have been on an off fab for about 12 years. The site is no different than it was 12 years ago.

No, its been over-run with people who have no interest in swinging and just want quick hook ups. A lot of us have got fed up with this attitude, made decent contacts and are happy to use the site to keep in touch with true swinging friends.

The problem being that FAB seems to be getting a lot of mention in the media. Whether it be a good/bad/indifferent mention, it will drive people to there browser where Google tells them where we all hide. Most of these will IMO be wannabes and fantasists who run for the hills as soon as a meet looks likely.

Think a a lot of men expect to come on here and send a message fancy meeting up and expect sex.

When have that attitude not going to go far.

We meet single guys and put up meets when availiable and get these messages all the time. Zero conversation, and zero ability at social skills letting their cock lead the way. We end up going to a club a lot of the time to find what we looking for or meeting someone met before.

The guys we have met from Fab expected nothing and treat as a swinging site as intended and not as a sex site. Found they have met many people and have no problems getting meets, even introduced us to new people.

If attitudes changed, time and effort spent a lot more is got out of the site.

I’m not sure we have found it has changed. We’ve done a few things over the years and it has always been pretty easy for us to meet single guys on here, couples much harder. Gaston has had a single guy profile and meeting women is very hard, couples slightly easier and guys easy. MissJ hasn’t tried a single profile.

For me now coming back on this site as a single male, after previously being on it as part of a couple, I’m under no illusion that anything will come from fab. I’m using the site purely as a platform for when I build up my friendships In the lifestyle to stay in touch from the club scene. As in my opinion the only successful way for a single male is to make the effort and go to a club. Yes it’s pricey but it’s the only real way to interact with couples and females who are like minded where your actual personality can come across! I’ve been back on this site just over a week and as of yet not had a single reply to any message I’ve sent but went to one club in that time and that is where my verification has come from and I got lucky with a sexy young couple in there and they aren’t even my verification. This site may aswel dispose of messaging privalidges for males as they are just pointless. When I was on this as a couple we’d scroll through endless repetitive messages and cock pics we’d barely ever reply to single males and a lot of couples where time wasters as much as the men where...it’s just how it is, ruined for those genuine by a lot who weren’t serious this site is Facebook for swingers now everyone should come to terms with that with the odd exception. BUT that’s just my opinion

As a couple who only recently blocked men from messaging us I would have to agree. Back 5 or 6 years ago we would have some decent chats with guys via email and whilst we never met they provided an insight into the single male life on here and we hopefully gave a couples point of view. In the last 12 months that has ceased and our in box became awash with "Hi" "you look gorgeous" and "meet now, me fuck you" Neanderthal messages complete with dick pic.

Clubs are the best way for a single guy to shine, have a shave and a shower, dress smart and make the effort to talk to people. It might not yield results on the night but may lead to a private meet later.

When we first joined over 10 years ago we used to find people to meet more easily but I think as we have evolved and found what we prefer it’s harder to find what we are looking for, well that and the fact we were 10 years younger and a lot fitter back then

Hits the nail on the head. We met as singles on fab, J always says my initial contact stood out because it was respectful, well written and interesting. As a couple we are sick of rude, one liner messages with a dozen dick pics and no face.

Even some couples could improve their messaging skills

Respect and manners seem to be more lacking on here now (though it is the same everywhere) ... a lot more guys seem to think they have an entitlement to sex
