Does the length of time you have been a member matter especially if you few or no verification's.

Yes.

If someone has been here for a long period of time, with no veris, or hadn't had one for over a year. I'd be wary of them.

I know not everyone displays them all, or maybe had ones that have gone UNLOS,, but I'd least expect to see the summary in that case.

As you can see I have been on here over a year but only 1 veri,does that make dodgy in some way or just not a regular user of the site?

If no verifications and here over 6 months you do wonder why. Same with someone with just one verification and it was years ago. It dosn't automatically top you meeting someone but it can make you cautious.

OK sound idea although again as seems the thread here would be a social veri not a encounter for want of a better word.

I have 1 veri from a lady who i was meeting over a period of time so if for instance she posted numerous veris would that count or be suspicious,also if you cant get anyone to respond how do you get veris in the 1st place

That would rule me out then.

Thing is I have been on here for 7-8 years on and off, but was in a relationship for a while and just kept this open for chat and forum access etc. Now single again, but as I haven't had a veri for over a year, does that make me any less genuine??

Yes it would seems it does from response so far you would think decent profile would help.

I know of someone who deletes his profile every 2/3 months and creates a new one according to him it works!! how he has the time and patience let alone email accounts to do it i wonder

It definitely plays into our decision making. We are far more cagey about discretion in terms of pics and our investment in planning a meet if the person has been here a long time but has no verifications.

Ultimately for us there is a wide variety of people on this site and if you haven't managed to get one over the line in say a year then either you aren't here for legit reasons, have issues with your expectations or are in some other way probably not genuine.

Your virtue signaling aside if you don't spend much time in the community in one form or another, be it forum posting, messaging, club meeting, whatever works for you, for an entire year then there's a reasonable chance your interest in the process is low and you aren't likely to be a viable candidate.

Its quite possible that they have only met one person. Had a great time. But since then. No one has reached the standard that they are looking for.

Just because there are a lack of verifications does not make them anything to be suspicious of. We are not all looking to become a notch on a bed post.

Equally someone with many many verifications can be just as off putting.

Dont judge a book by its cover.

Hmm... I agree with a lot of this but with all due respect it doesn't necessarily take sex to have a verification. Social meet veris are a thing and at least indicate that the person exists and is present in the community. Having nothing at all after a long period doesn't make someone a bad person, but it does mean they haven't engaged, and that's generally reason enough not to deal with them if you are looking for someone who is actively engaged in this lifestyle.

But, as they say that's just like my opinion man :D

Dodgy is a bit strong, it would be more that we wouldn't take the gamble.

I think like everything on this site, it will matter to some and not to others.

If you find you're generally interested in people with a lot of veris, then it might fit that they would want you to have a lot too.

We prefer those with few, and don't have a problem with those that have none.

But i do visit clubs etc but I do not hassle couples on whether they are members of any site or insist they send be a verification unlike some guys i know who do it just so they can get a veri.

I post response and the odd feed like this one but to date no one has contacted me privately or my have checked my profile but hidden their viewing

Not all verifications mean they have played. We was one of the first six to join this site over 10 years ago and helped alot out, but we have not played with every one we have met, we also was on another site well before this one but found this site got better within two years of starting. But now nearly every one knows about fad and so does the ones who spoil it for the genuine people.
