So some of the other appreciation posts I did went down well. This one is for Asian appreciation. All the hot women and men of South Asian and Arab descent...

The reason I’m doing this is because I see a lot of negativity towards this group of individuals. Despite the fact that they’re some of the sexiest people on earth.

So this is a thread to share POSITIVITY and appreciation - and who knows you might find yourself a hottie too!!

South Asian women are the most beautiful in the world in my view (with the possible exception of Latino/Brazilian women).

Something about dark hair, sultry dark eyes and brown skin. Absolutely stunning, they also tend to be very dressy and feminine in my experience

Asian does seem like a massive catch-all term though.

I'm Singaporean by nationality and Chinese by race. I qualify as Asian still? Or would you use "Oriental" on me? Because from where I come from we don't make distinctions amongst Asians the same way people seem to do geographically here in the West. "Asians" is just a catch-all term for us, and if we feel the need to subcategorise we go straight to nationality as descriptions.

Just wanna clarify and ask. But otherwise don't mind me... Asian coming through (hopefully!).

I’ve always understood South Asian to mean people from the Indian sub continent ie Indian/Pakistani/bangladeshi/Sri lanken.

East Asian = Chinese/Japanese/Singaporean/Korean etc.

Both terms refer to ethnicity rather than nationality.

I know *some* East Asians consider oriental to be an offensive term these days.

She was great in some respects - but also one of the most ignorant, bigoted and racist people I’ve ever met.

Social attitudes play a big part in this. There are plenty of Asian guys on here but very few women.

The simple fact is many asian guys are happy to play, but would be appalled at the thought of their wife / partner / sister / relative being in the scene.

Attitudes may be slowly changing, but the fact is for many this attitude strongly persists. It's OK for guys to 'play around' but absolutely not for women.

So sadly we encounter very few asian couples.

There are lots of asian couples on this site if you look in the right places. As for single Asian women, think it’s more due to asian women are not as well climatised to swinging as non Asian women. There are some who are on but like anything, once people know such a site exists, they will join.

South Asian people are probably underrepresented on this site as compared to the % of the population they make up. South Asian people *tend* to have more conservative social attitudes, which would be incompatible with swinging. Their cultures also *tend* to be more patriarchal in nature.

That’s not a stereotype, it’s a fact. I’d imagine *most* asian individuals/couples on here would agree.

I suspect that’s what the previous poster was getting at.

I'm half middle eastern myself but I don't think it makes a difference to if people find me attractive or not, if people don't like me it's because I have a beard and wear a few extra kilos, but then by the same token enough people find those two things a genuine attraction, so not too fussed!

You are probably right about the patriarchal nature of south Asian culture. Having said that, I reckon it's more often than not the male half who encourages the female to enter this scene.
