I assume that you had agreed that he would keep the video 100% private - genuine decency and respect would normally ensure that discretion is totally a priority.

Whilst it's a shock for people who you haven't chosen to know your intimate secrets, it sounds like you know these well enough, as they've shared their past secret life now.

I'd be furious with the guy and be in touch. It's potentially appropriate to notify admin if he's broken trust and agreements. Perhaps take this as a wake up call, as you may wish to change what you allow us be taken away from meets.

Consider making and owning all recordings, then editing them, before sharing, so that you have greater control over what may leak to the wider world

There's no realistic way of making recordings that doesn't put one party in an "uncontrolled " position.

Post-coitally editing footage, deleting bits, obscuring others, making a copy each and then overwriting all memory cards to prevent recovery is not going to rev anyone up for round two...

Yes it does, but owning the copyright is very different to having a model or property release signed. Showing others the video, without consent, is indiscrete. Publishing without consent becomes a legal issue.

I’d have thought people would have established a muncher higher level of respect, trust and understanding before allowing a video to potentially go feral, but each to their own.

I completely understand that many think the neighbours are being indiscreet but the OP never said they had asked to play with them.

If someone was to show me a video of someone I knew personally and I felt that there privacy was not being respected I would find a quiet moment to warn them.

I wouldn't consider this indiscreet but more of a moral duty to make them aware in case they wanted to contact the guy with the video and put a stop to it.

Would I be in the wrong for doing this?

I am trying to clarify the neighbours intentions. Were trying to warn the OP about it or were they trying to take advantage of their new found knowledge?

I would try to warn someone if I felt there was potentially a bigger risk to their privacy from the continued showing of this video to random strangers without their knowledge or consent.

Exactly this. This was my point. All 3 behaved without discretion, the guy with the video showing it to the neighbours and the neighbours for mentioning it to the OPs. The guy knew it was wrong, the neighbours also did. And if they didn't realise it was wrong they most definitely should not be classed as genuine swingers.

We confronted the guy he was so apologetic and even deleted the video infront of us , we didnt knew it was a video he did he ask just to take a photo whilst my wife giving him head..he said he wasnt meant to show the video is that our neighbours wife kinda nosy about his phone so she scrolled onto her photos and kinda seen the video..........we said damage has been done..also our neighbour came to speak to us and apologized about it too and said nothing to worry about it and most couples now do swing and told us if we re okay with it they will introduce to our other neighbours who swings too.

Personally I don't see a problem with the neighnours knowing you're swingers as they are too and are hardly likely to tell any other neighbours, (unless maybe they're all swingers too and you were the only people who didn't know). It could be a bit socially embarassing if they wanted to play with you and you didn't want to play with them but that's the way in swinging and I would oubt they would talk about it.

Yes the guy who showed them the video was well out of order and needs to know. You should tell and so should your neighboura.

heres an update!! "Personally I don't see a problem with the neighnours knowing you're swingers as they are too and are hardly likely to tell any other neighbours, (unless maybe they're all swingers too and you were the only people who didn't know). It could be a bit socially embarassing if they wanted to play with you and you didn't want to play with them but that's the way in swinging and I would oubt they would talk about it.

Yes the guy who showed them the video was well out of order and needs to know. You should tell and so should your neighboura.

I don't think it's revenge laws.

If He took it on his own camera and was not a hidden camera. Things will be different. If nothing was said about who was going to see the video then there is nothing that can be done.

Photography and the law are a mine field

As a model I have no real power what can be done with images taken of me. Yet if at the shoot say I agree to do a open leg shoot for his personal collection and not for publication and he does then I can have all photos removed and proceed with a claim
