The Fab Market economy maybe?

About something I've notice on FAB on a fair few couples profiles. Very particular physical demands for a single male such as Athletic VWE or a particular skin colour. But then go on to say aslo looking for couples and/or females but no stipulation about the attractiveness for these. Basicly a very high bar for the right single man but maybe not that bothered when it comes to the attractiveness of a couple and/or single fem. Just seems odd that people would lower their bar of attractiveness in order to play with couples/single fems? I wounder is this something to do with worth/function some couples see single men providing as different to other groups? Or maybe a differing standards reflecting supply and demand of the FAB economy? Or something else?

Having a attractive woman to bring to the party is like having a shiny football sticker to swap in school.

Supply/ demand, I think. If you have (numbers invented but not unrealistic given my experience) 80 single male applicants (imagining this as a job), 15 couple applicants and two single female applicants... The job "single male" is going to be easier to fill with a candidate who matches your specification, while single female may go without a person in the role.

There are a lot more unnatractive men out there than women/coouplescould be a reason also.

The difference between a Market Stall and a Shopping Complex. There are so many men to choose from so couples can be very very picky. X

Can see what your saying. For example a company puts out for the following jobs:

Warehouse opratives: 100 applicants apply and you can pick the person who has four arms, the strength of ten cart horses and a photo graphic memory places.

A qualified fleet engineer: 10 apply. All not got strong CVs but the best in buisness are already working for better companies so beggars can't be chooser.

And a systems designer: Eventually you get one applicant. They are far from idea but they are rare and in lue of other applicants you let them fill the role.

Still seems odd that the level of attractiveness of who you'd shag can be affected by their gender or what other person they bring along to the party.

Depends on how much you want sex, I suppose. If I put a meet up for guys tonight, odds are I'd (with filters off) get a ridiculous amount of attention (not a brag, just is). Might find me weeks or months to find any woman, let alone if I'm very picky.
