For me to wear on meets i dont like to wear anything to provocative on a first meet, for me nice but covered, i just think you could give the wrong signals out if you meet someone and after a couple of drink decide you dont want to play with them after you've been sat flashing your stocking tops and cleavage at them lol

I was reading a thread a while ago where the trainers vs shoes arguement came out and caps!!

now im not a fashionista in the slightest and tend to adhere to a mod look (black jeans, fitted ben sherman shirt harrington etc) and like to wear a t flat cap- is my clothing choice a bad idea?

i couldnt imagine wearing smart trousers and the ike, it would be too much like a job interview!!

I like to dress smart. Shirt open necked, jacket and trousers that go below the knees.

Remove jacket and voila, casual.

Suits put me off a bit. They either make me think they have snuck out from work early and couldn’t go home to change (never mind about shower)… or they are planning on attending a wedding or a funeral…. I wish to be a surprise guest at neither.

Mark Normally wears a tight fit tee or nice shirt, and a pair of smart casual jeans ( black or dark dark blue, well cut etc) or a pair of black trousers.

Depending on where the meet is i either wear something small(ish) and sexy or something smart casual ( a nice top and trousers/skirt or a sexy dress)

but if we are meeting somewhere more formal we will dress to suit, or if people prefer women wear a certain thing or guys wear a certain thing then we dress to match. But always to our style and what suits us.

Most of our friends arrive in ordinary clothes, and the women usually nip up to the bedroom and change into something sexy, then come downstairs for a drink and a chat before we start. We were amused when one friend got out of their car in the sort of VERY skimpy and erotic kit you'd wear to a club, fortunately we're not overlooked by neighbours!

We had that happen to us too, the lady of a couple turned up wearing pvc thigh boots and a pvc mini dress (and I mean mini).

We lived on the first floor in a flat at the time, our neighbours must have seen.

I dress for a meet in exactly the same way I dress to go out (well I probably tone down certain aspects of it as some would say I have a rather quirky dress sense).

But I always wear skirts or dresses to go out and they tend to be fitted, with heels and my longish hair worn down with heels etc. My OH is a smart casual kind of guy, so will be wearing trousers and shirt. He dresses in a very smart and classic style, I am probably a little more colourful

I actually have meet clothes and they are clothes i would never wear in my every day life, im not really very feminine as a rule and i dont really wear dresses/skirts, id be perfectly happy to turn up to a meet in my jeans, new rocks and a download t shirt lol

But

I understand thats not acceptable so i have clothes i wear just for meets, which was hard for me to buy as i have no bloody idea at all about fashion

I do alwasys wear dresses and heels for a meet, tho if im 100% honest i dont feel comfy as its just not me

I think that the most important thing about a meet is that you feel comfortable and comfortable with what you are wearing, if you are going to be constantly worrying about how you look then you aren't going to be presenting the real you. We had one chap pitch up in a pair of old torn jeans, yes they were clean, but he was at ease with himself and that was the most important thing. So many people have come to ours dressed up to look like mannikin's and they have looked and I assume felt, uncomfortable. It takes longer to get to where you both want to get to.

I always dress in a feminine way, whether on an arranged meet or for normal daily activities. It makes me feel good to smell nice, have nice underwear on and stocking and heels, even if I am working in a dull environment.

I guess when preparing for a date, I may wear a dress with more revealing cleavage and do my make up differently but other than that, I am all me

I should add that every chap I have met from Fab has arrived looking an smelling lovely, whether in casual or smart attire - so thank you

For me, it depends on my mood

Sometimes it's jeans or trousers and shirt, other times I'll wear a loosly fitted tie, with a waistcoat, (lol, the David Essex, gypsy, look,) sometimes a suit jacket.

I have worn a suit to a party once though it was part of the dress code.

I'm always smart though, and I smell nice too

Download what year?? this makes a huge difference to whether or not we can meet or not our tastes might just be too different

but seriously we usually like to discuss what people are comfortable in,, if they like to dress up then yeah we will too if not then a nice tee esp one that shows a bit of personality and a decent pair of jeans is more than sufficient for us

i would never go to a meet in jeans, even tho i live in jeans 99.9% of my life, i just wouldnt go on a meet in them, its also why i wont meet people in the day because i dont want to go to a meet in kind of day time clothes but i dont want to be meeting in the day time dressed over the top, where as in the evening its acceptable, even expected to be dressed up

For me if i am meeting someone for a drink only (social initial meet) then I will wear my normal clothes but still make sure I choose a nice top to give the desired effect but smart black jeans or skirt and medium heels depending on the weather. But for a saucy meet then stockings or hold ups and often a corset. Depends where I am meeting but if travelling to a meet will still make sure I wear something nice on the outside to make me feel sexy
