"When I was learning about Domination two good friends and mentors said the best way to learn is to experience, so I did. They took me for a long hard session and I experienced subspace. For me it was like disconnecting with myself, you are experiencing everything but it was not as sharp or as in focus. Afterwards I crashed hard, so now I am very conscious of aftercare and ethical play. " Interesting, thank you. Mike xx

" I've never experienced subspace, but I'm familiar with a kind of euphoric overload that comes with exertion / high levels of pain. Simply put, there are times when you're so far over the edge of effort and coping with sensation that it's as if you experience peripheral senses shutting down. AT that point it usually takes a little while to get my heart rate doiwn to a point at which I start perceiving things around me more clearly. Now that's me just experiencing a tough sporting effort - I can't begin to imagine what that feels like if there's a big emotional component as well... If I know one thing though, as a dom who's seen someone in subspace, it is that the best thing to do is to act as if every session is going to end in subspace - take care, be kind, monitor feelings and behaviours, and enjoy ![]()
