A demisexual is a person who does not experience sexual attraction unless they form an emotional connection. It's more commonly seen in, but by no means confined, to romantic relationships. The term demisexual comes from the orientation being "halfway between" sexual and asexual...

So i would say no..

Im not here for romance but i do need to have some sort of connection otherwise whats the point

I was going with the meaning of having some form of connection..

Because I know some people go purely on looks when looking to play and some go on forming some sort of connection as well as attraction.

I think for a lot of people it’s not about an emotional connection but it is about a connection of sorts.

It has to be someone you could at least hold some kind of conversation with, so someone who has some element of intelligence that resembles there own. Views for some people or opinions that are similar are important. Maybe similar humour.
