With the amount of fake profiles that appear only to be defeated a few hours later I think is an all time high. I think making this a pay only site will massively put a stop to this. Maybe another alternative is not making a profile active until photo verification has been granted, it doesn't take long and let's be honest the amount of profiles you see with stolen photos or really obviously fakes makes this site really difficult for the genuine ones.

You sometimes do have to wait for photo verification to use the site. Last time I waited over 8 hours and still hadn’t had a response either way, I just ended up deleting my profile as I couldn’t use the site. There are improvements that could be made, that’s for sure

Just filter out non site supporters and unverified people, job done...

Obviously I mean deleted... Bloody auto spell.

I would hate to think the of the ratio for real to fake on here? i just wish the odd balls pretending to be couples or women would be controlled better. £5 isn't much to pay but it would certainly reduce the problem.

If it was only that simple, you not seen the profiles that are years old with one verification. Make two profiles and verify one of them... Job done.

If photo verification and meet verification were different then that would help. But I do get where you are coming from.

There are plenty of filters out there to use as others have said. And there is nothing stopping people contacting just silver or gold members its a choice already there. I think there is more of a problem on here with males who have paid expecting a guaranteed meet because of this and become aggressive and frustrated because they haven't got a fuck after paying and that's quite sad.

This is something I find strange. Am I correct in thinking that if someone that’s verified you leaves the site (for whatever reason), you lose that verification as well as opposed to it remaining as a ‘user no longer on site’ label?

What about those not comfortable with credit card companies or anyone for that matter having a record of what they have paid for in private -especially with life insurance and other such companies trawling social media to amend their client risk profiles with?

I think you’re being a little naive there OP. What makes you think that the higher paying dating sites are full of genuine people?

Unfortunately the Internet has opened a Pandora’s Box when it comes to fakes. You just have to trust your instinct sometimes.

You are correct, you lose the veri, its happened to me quite a few times now
