I disagree with flirting/chatting up someone who has clearly stated that is not what they want. For lots of reasons. You have immediately, before anything has even happened, proved you are unable to respect boundaries. A lot of people in the LGBT community have put effort into reassuring homophobics that no one is trying to convert them and we all just want to be respected for our own identity. You are undermining that.

I wouldn't try to push anything on anyone that is outside of their stated boundaries whether that is sexuality, or any particular activity. I would block anyone who tried that with myself or Sunny.

I've blocked men on here but have had men try and chat me up on a night out. Most responded well to me telling them I was straight, there was one instance where he wouldn't let it go and was very persistent to the point of it being harassment, touching and the like. Bouncers weren't interested at all, I can't imagine they'd be the same had it been me harrasing a woman.
