We don't know about other people our age, but we don't at all identify with the term 'silver swingers' applied to those over 50, or to the saga/funeral/whatever plans advertised on TV for the over 50s...

We're havimg the time of our lives, and think the best years are still to come. We may not have the bodies we had when we were twenty, but we do have the minds snd in addition freedom (in the sense of kids having got their own lives), resources, the maturity to know what's important and what we like and the increasing ability to do what we want...

The over 50s are the new teens of naughty enjoyment! Once you hit 50/60+ folk are confident, know what they want, are reliable, trustworthy, kind and love to try new things. I find older women just as sexy as a younger women but easier to relate to. We didn't start swinging until we were in our 50s. We'd recently met and are both adventurous, so decided to try a swinger club - after that first visit we were hooked and haven't looked back since! We had both done a little group play when a lot younger, but over the last 15 years swapping and group play has become a regular and very enjoyable part of our lives.

Just go for it, you're as old as you feel and we feel like recycled teenagers!

F#ck me.. I'm sorry but can I just say, don't class yourself as old people, you're both in your 50s. I'm 49 and I don't think I'm old at all. I'm in better shape and fitness now than I've ever been and I know that in my 50s I won't think I'm old. All these young ones might but that's because they haven't lived yet. Celebrate your age, don't put yourself down x

Haven't people heard - lige BEGINS at 50 these days....we have the life experience to appreciate what it's all about, have mostly aged gracefully like maturing cheese and wine, are relaxed and comfortable and have nothing to prove leaving life to just enjoy...silver swingers our ass !

Younger people just don't appreciate the slow sipping delight of older wines they just gulp it down. We more mature ones saviour the delights of it swilling round the lips and mouth before letting it slip gently down the throat.
