The audacity of some women to think a man would spend their money on spoiling them is absurd. Especially when they haven’t even met them.

Are men actually desperate enough to indulge in this behaviour

Lots of men offer to buy gifts or take you shopping - but I always refuse as I’m independent and can buy my own lingerie and clothes

Maybe others like or request it and that’s why the men suggest it - always thought it was a bit condescending from a stranger

Whatever floats their boats.

Don’t worry about what other peoples fettishes and turn ons are. Enjoy your own and have a good time.

Never mind men indulging it, some dive straight in with offering. Not my thing, would feel like being bought, but it happens. Google paypigs.

I often get messages from guys offering to buy lingerie, clothes etc. Had a few holiday offers too. All deleted as this place a haven for the absurd.

Never indulged but never say never... it’s really a word fir what happens a lot anyway. If it felt like paying for sex it would turn me off though

Lots do. And lots of women look for that too. I’d find it insulting to be honest. My friend met someone on here and they went out for a meal and went back to a hotel and in the morning he said I was gonna buy you some nice perfume but didn’t know what you’d like so here’s £200 to buy yourself something nice! She was really upset and left the site.

What harm is it though, if all concerned benefit from it, in their own way

I find it’s more of a control thing than a nice gesture, once they buy you nice things you then owe them!

Not my cup of tea but doesn’t stop them trying even after politely declining

Lots of men offer it unfortunately.

Thankfully I have a husband that spoils me. Not that I’d ever turn to a sugar daddy, it’s just fancy prostitution IMO. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that, I believe it should be legal but that’s another argument)

When I have the time and say I’ve had a good month at work I have in the past taken women ( from this site and one other) on holiday as my treat. I don’t see it as paying for sex, I want to go away with nice (sexy) company and don’t mind treating someone. Obviously has to be the right connection as obviously I’d like there to be sex, but what about the rest of the time? They have been FBs first though

It's only absurd if they aren't attractive enough to warrant it

You have a lot to learn about how low some men will sink

Lots of men do this, I’ve lost count of how many “Sugar Daddies” have messaged me on here.

Just the other day I posted a simple status about how difficult it is finding holiday clothes in the middle of autumn because a lot of the fashion is now catering for winter and I had a bunch of messages saying “I’ll buy clothes for you”, there was absolutely no hint of me wanting that lol.

Most of these so called Sugar Daddies aren’t sugar daddies and are rather controlling men who buy women things in exchange for something else. There are not that many people in this world who gift strangers without wanting something in return. I politely reject them and the amount of them who go “Well I’m rich so your loss” or “I have my own business, drive this, live in a 20 bedroom house, your loss” makes me laugh. As if I care about that!

Some people on here and plenty other sites are only here to rinse others for money/gifts/drinks and some are only here to brag about what they have, or haven’t got to a bunch of strangers who couldn’t care less.

Avoid those type of people like the plague!
