Some folks have been here for years and are not verified, or if they are they don't show it on the profile.

We are on other sites and met more people from them than here. They do not have a verification system on the main one we use..we have been on there for over 15 years and met a fair few folk ..or maybe they are just not jumping in to bed with everyone and taking their time regarding who they meet..verification is not everything..

There are of course reasons why couples legitimately do not show profiles.

I hope they appreciate why equally legitimaly we are not prepared to contemplate meeting them.

Oh, I thought that but assumed it couldn’t be simple because that’s a silly thing to moan about.

What do you mean, what’s the point? Are you expecting people to have a verification within minutes, days even of joining the site? Couples may be busy, may be just dipping their toes in and taking things slow, plenty reasons why they don’t have verifications yet

Verifications don’t prove that someone is real. Verifications can very easily be faked

There are filters to stop non verified members contacting you.

Yes agreed, verifications give a false sense of security.

They mean very little to us.

Photo verification we do like people we meet to have that at least. Photo verification helps we think...but just our opinion.

However verification from other users we don't take into account too much, we just try our best to judge a persons character and hope we make the right choice from the conversation we have

I hope they do. Otherwise i'm not real and i'm screwed. I'm really a man made out of chocolate . Why do i even have verifications?. Why do i bother give them to people i've met?. Oh yeah to prove they are real
