Tough call... i had mine as ample as im a size 16/18... however, been told to change it to curvy after meets as ample is apparently not my description. However, id hate to decieve someone as everyones image of curvy varies hugely!! I personally think sending a realistic pic beforehand ensures no confusion. Not that i mind im very comfy in my own skin.. but agree its a wide range of possibilities! Xxx

I'm overweight and get called curvy. I put myself down as curvy because I wasn't sure myself, and I didn't want to start on Fab by putting myself down, you know?

And while I am occasionally told that I'm fat not curvy or whatever, way more often I'm told that I'm attractive and curvy in all the right places. (I don't draw on my inbox for my self esteem, ha) It probably helps that in my case, I do have curves in the right places, but they might be a bit bigger than ideal (and are joined by some other curves).

It's in the eye of the beholder, I think. And it's a can of worms all around.

Also honestly I think it's dangerous to label ourselves based on celebrities. I think the average UK woman is a size 16. Saying that anyone curvy who isn't shaped like a celebrity puts probably most of us down.

If you're not after a plus sized woman, you do you (and accept/ reject based on photos). But I think it's better for us to be able to say and hear nice things about ourselves.

Hmmmm I guess I agree with a lot of what the ladies have said it's a hard one to label ones self, some may say I'm fat/over weight I most definitely know I'm not slim and I'd say above average in size so though I'm aware I could fo with losing some timber.....so the only option is curvy though I defiantly lack the the longed for hourglass shape.

I think it's well known that the term has been claimed by the body acceptance movement and can encompass a larger lady. Also in most instances here photos will tell you what you need to know.

I think a lot of people are uncomfortable with bigger people accepting themselves as they are and describing themselves in ways that might attract others. It's unfortunate at the very least.

I’ve also noticed men with beer bellies or dad bods describing themselves as athletic. It’s safe to say there are plenty people who describe themselves in a way that others wouldn’t agree. But who are we to stop them. Everyone’s definition of a body type will be different.

Pictures go a long way aslong as they accurately represent the person.

I've seen some (to my mind) wildly inaccurate categorisation of body types. I make my mind up for myself and keep judgement to myself.

I'm overweight, but I'm also busty and have large (even when not due to weight) hips and thighs. I might not be to everyone's taste, and some may call me fat or worse, but I'm still curvy.

I chose "fabulous" cos it's all subjective. One guy messaged me and told me that fabulous meant really, really big and I should change it as I wasn't but anyone I am interested to meet can ask for a full body pic before so they know who they will be meeting.

I would always associate the word ‘curvy’ with something that is describing the shape of something, rather than the size.

Slim people can be curvy, overweight people can be curvy. It’s not about size, it’s about the shape so the size of the frame is irrelevant.

I can assure you that my frame is far from slender but I’m rocking some serious curves!

That means I’m not curvy then, even though I get called it by everyone. I have slim legs, massive boobs, not a tiny waist waist and smaller bum and hips to the top half. Apple shape. Fuck knows what that is.

To me I've just always thought of an hourglass as the classic curvy figure like 50's pin-up style. That's not to say that you aren't curvy. You are. You just aren't an hourglass. And you don't have to be.

Wouldn’t it be easier if Fab just put dress size for women and waist size for men then everyone would be less confused?

Mind you some people can’t even record their true age so perhaps recording their size would also be an issue

I would have to put 3 sizes a different for top and bottom and depending on brand.
