Is this man to keep or just play with ?

A keeper would be a complex sort, with depth and both aspects within a varied emotional range.

In a play partner it's not really a consideration, as long as they are kind and decent.

A man who can control his emotions but is also able to let go when needed.

Yes, but that is not the point. some men are more in touch with there feminine side able to express their feeling and emotion. Stoic men, I mean men that see a thing like crying, feeling to not be a trait they have.

If I were to describe myself between the two terms, I am definitely a stoic person. I grew up in a harsh environment so learned early on to not complain and work through it or find another way. I do admire men able to express their feeling and be vulnerable, just not my character trait.

Not saying i'm heartless

just don't whine about the little things.
