Is it something people need to know in order to manage your 'absences'? If it's the kind of thing for which you'd wear a medical ID bracelet, then the answer is probably yes...

No need to put in your profile but i would explain over coffee to the person you meet just so they are aware of what is happening if it happens.

But yeah, I'd tell them over a brew just so they know they ain't boring ya to death kinda thing. I think once they've seen it happen once they'll realise it's nothing to worry about.

But having a social and explaining then would be good .... just so as your meet will be aware ..some people wont understand .....some will ,so be selective OP .

This. Had a bf who would sometimes fit briefly after an intense orgasm.

Once he'd explained it to me it wasn't an issue.

An ex of mine (many moons ago) suffered. He didn’t tell me. Six months into our relationship he had a pretty significant seizure.

Had I known, I would have been less shocked and would have known better how to help him. Sadly, I was totally unprepared.

I wouldn’t put it in your profile, but let people know if you are going to meet. I can’t see why the condition would put people off, but it would be helpful to know in advance.

How aware of your triggers are you?

It wouldn’t put me off meeting you. My husband has epilepsy, although it’s stress that triggers his seizures. Thankfully due to medication he hasn’t had a seizure in three years.

I’d maybe pop it in your profile if you know your triggers, for example if it’s flashing lights, you wouldn’t attend a social where there may be lots of flashing lights.

Thanks for the feedback guys to some people Epilepsy is taboo. And have potential meets cancel when I told them. Which is upsetting and makes me more self conscious about it, which makes me more likely to go into my shell
